The CBSE Board Exams 2025 for class 10 and 12 will commence from tomorrow, 15th February 2025. The first paper for Class 10 students will be English (Language and Literature) and English (Communicative) whereas that for Class 12 students will be Entrepreneurship. 

The CBSE Board Exams are to be held for both classes in a single shift and the exam duration is 3 hours. The exam timing is from 10:30am to 1:30pm. Students will be provided 15 minutes reading time to read the question paper. For the academic session 2024-25 the CBSE Board issued the CBSE Date Sheet 2025 86 days prior to the exam.

It is mandatory for students to carry their CBSE Admit Card 2025 and school identity card to the exam center on all exam days. If not then they will not be allowed to take the exam. The CBSE 10th and 12th Admit Cards 2025 were issued on the official website on 3rd February 2025. Regular as well as private students can download their admit cards from Pariksha Sangam Portal. 

Private students appearing for the exam can access and download their admit card from the board's official website (cbse.gov.in). Regular students can get their admit card by visiting their schools as only schools have access to their admit cards.

The last papers for CBSE Class 10 Board Exams 2025 are information technology and artificial intelligence, computer applications whereas CBSE 12th Board Exams 2025 will conclude on 4th April 2025 with Psychology being the last paper.

CBSE Board Exam 2025: CCTV Policy, Counselling

Around 4 lakh students will be appearing for CBSE 10th and 12th Board Exams 2025 combined across almost 8000 exam centers. To increase security during exams a new policy has been implemented by the board. As per this policy all exam centers will be monitored by CCTV cameras. 

Rumours of CBSE Board Syllabus for Class 10 and 12 being decreased had become popular before the exam. The CBSE denied these reports of 15% syllabus reduction for CBSE Board Exams 2025. The board has also stated that open book examination will not be held this year.

To lessen exam stress and help students with their preparation of board exams, CBSE has also started free psychological counseling. The counseling will be held at two levels: onr prior to the exams and one after the exams.
