CBSE will provide, free of charge, psycho-social counseling to Class X and Class XII students giving their examinations as part of preparation for the event. This shall be the third time that after running for well over 25 years, counseling is being run in two parts: before commencement of exams to be announced ahead of time or just after exam results are issued.

Counseling Period: February 1st, 2025, to April 4th, 2025, in alignment with the board exams beginning on February 15th, 2025.
Support Services Provided:
- 24/7 Interactive Voice Response System (IVRS):
- A toll-free helpline (1800-11-8004) offering round-the-clock assistance.
- Information on stress management, time management, frequently asked questions, and CBSE contact details.
- This service is available in Hindi and English as well.
- Tele- Counseling Services:
- This is being provided through a team of 66 persons who are training professionals, among whom are included principals, counselors, special educators, and psychologists.
- The counseling sessions are given one on one. From Monday to Saturday, this service is available from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
- Counselors are stationed in India and also in Nepal, Japan, Qatar, Oman, and the UAE.
- Podcast and Audio-Visual Resources:
- Bilingual content on relevant topics such as stress management, exam preparation strategies, and mental well-being.
- Available on the CBSE website: www.cbse.gov.in.
