CAT 2024 Results have been declared on Thursday, December 19, 2024. Along with the declaration of CAT Result 2024, IIM Calcutta has also released the CAT Scorecards on the official websites. The direct link to download the CAT 2024 Scorecard is now active at iimcat.ac.in. Students who took the CAT 2024 can now download their scorecards from the direct link provided here on this page or they can visit the CAT website. They will have to enter their CAT Login to access the scorecard.
There are 14 students who have secured 100 percentile in the exam. Out of these 14 students, 1 is a female candidate. 29 students have secured 99.99 Percentile and 30 candidates secured 99.98 Percentile.

How to Download CAT 2024 Result?
Students can refer to the points below to check and download their CAT Scorecard 2024:
- Visit the CAT official website i.e. iimcat.ac.in.
- Navigate to and click on "Registered Candidate Login".
- Enter CAT Login and Password.
- Click on “Submit” to proceed.
- Click on the “Download CAT 2024 Result cum Scorecard” link.
- The screen displays your CAT Scorecard 2024.
- Download it and take a printout for future reference.

How Many Students Secured 100 Percentile in CAT 2024 Exam?
IIM Calcutta has released the CAT Scorecards along with the declaration of CAT 2024 Result. There are 14 Students who secured 100 Percentiles in the Common Admission Test. The list of Toppers in CAT 2024 Exam is yet to be announced by IIM Calcutta. Please refer to the table to check the number of Top CAT Percentile Scorers in CAT 2024:

Engineering vs Non-Engineering Toppers in CAT 2024 Exam
Students from Engineering backgrounds are always believed to have an upper hand in the CAT Exam. Every year, the number of Toppers from engineering backgrounds outnumbers the toppers from non-engineering ones with a great difference. In CAT 2024 too, only 10 students from non-engineering backgrounds happened to secure top percentile in the exam. What After CAT Result?
After the CAT 2024 Result release, candidates can calculate their chances of admission to IIMs. They can check the IIM Cutoff of previous years and see if their CAT Score/CAT Percentile would be enough to get admission to their desired IIM.
For the admission process, each IIM will release a list of shortlisted candidates based on candidates' percentile and CAT cutoff scores. The candidates will receive an invitation on their registered email ID. They will be required to report to the respective IIM with all the important documents and appear in the admission rounds.
The IIM Selection Criteria consists of two rounds, namely:
- Group Discussion
- Personal Interview
However, some IIMs also conduct a Written Ability Test, known as WAT, as one of the admission rounds. Candidates must also perform well in these rounds to secure a seat in the institute. The weightage of each round varies from one IIM to the other.
IIM Admission Process 2024
The admission process of IIMs begins after the result declaration of CAT Exam . CAT 2024 Result is now out at iimcat.ac.in and candidates who took the CAT 2024 can now check and download their CAT Scorecard. The Indian Institutes of Management will now start screening the candidates based on their respective CAT Scores/CAT Percentile. Then these IIMs will release the list of shortlisted candidates who will be eligible for admission.
The IIM Selection Criteria for admission through CAT Score are mentioned below
Academic Record
- Candidates should have secured good marks in 10 class, 12 class and graduation.
CAT Score
- The marks obtained by candidates in CAT Exam should be above a certain percentile. Respective IIMs will release the minimum CAT Percentile for admission.
IIM Selection Rounds
- There are 3 rounds conducted by IIMs to shortlist candidates for final admission. These rounds are Written Ability Test (WAT), Group Discussion (GD), and Personal Interview (PI). The weightage of each round varies as per the IIMs. Candidates must secure good marks in these rounds as well.
Eligibility
- Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree securing at least 50% marks in aggregate (45% for reserved category candidates) from a recognized university.
