CAT 2024 Exam Registration Begins Today!
CAT Registration 2024 - IIM Calcutta begins CAT 2024 Registration from today, 1 August, on the official website - iimcat.ac.in. Candidates who stand eligible as per the eligibility criteria of CAT Exam can now fill the application form by visiting the website. IIM Calcutta, being the examination conducting body for CAT 2024, has made the CAT Registration window available. The last date to fill the application form of the CAT Exam is 13 September. Candidates must fill out the application form before the deadline arrives.
As per the official notification, CAT 2024 will be held on 24 November. The exam will be held in three shifts, morning shift from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM, second shift from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM, and the third shift from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM. Also, the admit card of CAT will be issued on 5 November, almost 20 days before the exam will be commenced.
How to Fill CAT Application Form 2024?
The filling of the application form of the CAT Exam consists of a few steps that students must follow in order to register themselves for the exam successfully. Below are the steps to apply for CAT 2024 Exam:
- Visit the official website of CAT - iimcat.ac.in 2024.
- If you are a new candidate then click on ‘New Candidate Registration’.
- If you are a registered candidate then click on ‘Registered Candidate Login’.
- Once registered successfully, kindly proceed to fill the cat exam form.
- Enter your personal as well as academic details.
- Upload the scanned copies of required documents i.e. passport sized photograph and signature.
- Process the payment of cat exam fees.
- Submit the duly filled application form.
- Save the form for future reference.
Note* Candidates must make sure that the details filled by them are correct as any incorrect detail may lead to rejection of the application.
CAT Exam Fees for Candidates
The cat exam fees for a General/EWS/NC-OBC Candidate will be INR 2500 while SC/ST/PwD candidates will be charged INR 1250 to appear for CAT 2024.
Who Can Fill CAT 2024 Application Form?
Before filling the application form of CAT Exam, candidates must check the CAT Eligibility Criteria 2024. Below mentioned are the eligibility criteria that students must fulfill to appear in the exam:
- Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST/PwD) from a recognized university.
- The minimum duration of the degree program should be 3 years.
- Candidates in their final year of graduation or are awaiting their final year results can also apply for the CAT 2024 Exam.
- Candidates with professional degrees such as Chartered Accountants (CA), Company Secretary (CS), Cost and Management Accountant (ICWA), or Fellow Chartered Accountant of India (FCAI) are also eligible for the CAT 2024 Exam.
