USRF(Under Summer Research Fellowship) is a Summer Internship Program for Undergraduate Students in India and abroad. It is a 4 to 8-week program, open to students with a Bachelor's degree (like B.Tech, B.Sc, etc) of more than 2 years.
The primary objective of this program is to provide students the opportunity to:
- Collaborate with AMITY’s core faculty on real-time research issues.
- Gain practical knowledge in labs and with research instruments.
- Enhance their critical thinking and research writing skills.

- Internship Date: 12 June 2025
- Announcement of results: 3rd week of May 2025 (by email)
Eligibility Criteria
- Should be in an undergraduate program (B.Tech, B.Sc, etc.)
- Should have completed at least 2 years of their UG program.
- Fellowship Mode: Holding 80% or more marks in the current semester
Benefits and Support
Fellowship Mode
- Weekly stipend of INR1000 (total INR10,000 for 8 weeks of involvement)
- No-cost accommodations in university hostels
- Assistance with travel (Sleeper class train fare for commuting to and from campus)
- No fee for applying/ registering
- That is, based on merit, academic merit
Non-Fellowship Mode
- No stipend or travel support.
- Low hostel charges (~INR10/day) of Accommodation available
- Participation charge of roughly INR10,000
- Due to this, the individual can still have full research access + faculty mentorship.
Selection Process
- Academic merit will be used to shortlist candidates
- Fellowship and non-fellowship modes will be selected separately
- Based on performance during the program, students who excel in non-fellowship mode may be upgraded to fellowship.
- On the third week of May 2025, selected candidates will be notified by email
