Online registration for the Telangana Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (TS POLYCET) 2025 has been officially announced by the State Board of Technical Education and Training (SBTET), Telangana. Suitable applicants looking to pursue diploma courses in polytechnic colleges in Telangana can apply online through the official website, polycet.sbtet.telangana.gov.in.

Regular registration is due on April 19, 2025, and late registration is due on April 21, 2025.

TS POLYCET 2025: Steps on How to Register

Candidates can register by taking these simple steps:

Step 1: Go to the official website at polycet.sbtet.telangana.gov.in.

Step 2: From the main menu, choose "Registration."

Step 3: A new window will appear. Enter the information needed to register.

Step 4: Finish the application and make the payment.

Step 5:  Complete the application and pay the required fee.

Step 6: Download a copy of the application for your future reference.

TS POLYCET 2025: Category-wise Application Fee

  • SC/ST candidates have to pay Rs. 200
  • Other candidates have to pay Rs. 500
  • For Late Fee Rs. 100 will be charged
  • Tatkal Fee is Rs. 300

Nationality

Candidates should be an Indian National 

Age

There is no upper age restriction for appearing for POLYCET 2025 

Domicile

Candidates should belong to the State of Telangana /Andhra Pradesh. 

Educational Qualification

Candidates must have cleared the SSC examination conducted by the Andhra Pradesh/Telangana State Board of Secondary Education or an exam that the Board of Secondary Education, AP/TS, has approved as being equivalent.

Subject Combination

The qualifying examination must include mathematics as one of the subjects, and candidates must receive at least 35% of the marks.


Candidates who attempted NIOS, TOSS, APOSS, CBSE, ICSE, or other exams that Telangana State has recognised as being on par with the SSC should have passed all of their subjects, including math, physics, and chemistry, with at least 35% marks in each. 

The TS POLYCET is open to candidates who have passed or are taking the SSC or an equivalent examination in March or April of 2025, the results of which have not yet been announced.
