The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the provisionally shortlisted candidates' list for the document verification process for SSC Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) 2024. The applicants can now access the official PDF list on the SSC website at ssc.gov.in.
SSC CHSL 2024: Exam & Selection Process Overview
- Tier 1 Exam: Held between July 1 to 11, 2024.
- Result Declaration: September 6, 2024, with 39,835 candidates shortlisted for Tier 2.
- Tier 2 Test: Conducted on November 11, 2024, with 27,092 candidates being considered for further selection after they have entered their preferences online.
Candidates are shortlisted for posts like Lower Divisional Clerk (LDC), Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA), and Postal Assistant, on the basis of overall performance in both Tier 1 and Tier 2. The final merit list is drawn taking overall performance at all stages of the exam into account.
Document Verification & Important Notice
Applicants who are eligible for Tier 2 have to attend document verification to ascertain eligibility. Those who are shortlisted in the merit list will be allotted positions under different categories.
According to the SSC notice, if a candidate does not hear from the User Department to which he/she has been allotted within six months of the declaration of the final result, he/she should contact the department directly. SSC will not entertain any queries related to document verification or appointment formalities.
Documents Needed for SSC CHSL 2024 Verification
Shortlisted candidates are required to produce the following documents at the time of verification:
- Matriculation (Secondary) Certificate
- Educational Qualification Certificates
- Equivalent Qualification Order/Letter (if applicable)
- Caste/Category Certificate (if applicable)
- Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) Certificate (if applicable)
- Relevant Age Relaxation Certificate (if applicable)
- No Objection Certificate (NOC) for government employees
- Any other document mentioned in the admission certificate
Candidates should make sure they have all the documents needed to successfully complete the verification process.
