The SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST) has officially started the SRMJEEE 2025 mock test link for Phase 1 candidates. This is an important step for candidates wanting to appear for the SRMJEEE Phase 1 exams, it’s scheduled to begin from April 22 and will continue till April 27, 2025.
Candidates must attempt the mock test by 8 PM on April 21, as it is mandatory to know more about the online test pattern and process. As the actual exam is being conducted in a remote-proctored online mode, SRMIST has made it compulsory to complete this demo test as a preparatory step.
The candidates are asked to take the mock seriously, as it mimics the real test environment, including webcam and microphone checks, system diagnostics, and behavioral guidelines.
Exam Schedule and Mode
The SRMJEEE Phase 1 will be conducted in two daily slots:
The first will be from 10:00 AM – 12:30 PM. And the second slot will be from 2:00 PM – 4:30 PM
Exams will be entirely online and remotely conducted, meaning students can take them from home using a desktop or laptop.
The requirements for the system for the Exam
To ensure smooth participation, SRMIST has listed specific system requirements:
- Processor should be Intel i3 (4th Gen) or equivalent
- RAM should be minimum of 4 GB
- Storage should be at least 2 GB of free space
- OS must be Windows 8 or above, Mac OS 10.14 Mojave or higher
- Other requirements are a Webcam, a microphone, stable internet, and antivirus protection
Notably, mobile phones are not supported for the exam.

Candidates can follow these steps:

- Search for the mock test link under the admissions section or access it directly here.
- Choose the test based on your operating system (Windows or Mac).
- Complete the technical checks and start the mock test.
Key Guidelines for the Mock Test
SRMIST has issued strict guidelines for the mock test and main exam to prevent malpractice and ensure integrity:
- No breaks are allowed once the test begins.
- Electronic devices like smartphones, smartwatches, or Bluetooth headsets are strictly prohibited.
- Candidates must face the screen at all times; looking away or talking will be flagged.
- No rough sheets or external materials are allowed.
- No reading questions aloud or lip-syncing.
- Proper lighting is really necessary, as dim or poorly lit rooms may lead to disqualification.
