NEST 2025 Exam Date and Purpose
The NEST 2025 test will be held on June 22, 2025. The examination is held for admission to the five-year integrated MSc courses in biology, physics, chemistry, and mathematics at:
- National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER)
- University of Mumbai - Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences (UM-CEBS)
NEST 2025 Eligibility Criteria
Applicants should fulfill the following eligibility criteria:
- Should have passed Class 12 (or equivalent) in 2023, 2024 or be appearing for the Class 12 board exam in 2025.
- Should have obtained at least 60% aggregate marks (or equivalent grade) in Class 12.
- For SC, ST, and disabled candidates, the minimum percentage is 55%.
- There is no upper age limit for sitting in the exam.
