How to Fix Discrepancies in NIFT 2025 Admit Card
To fix any of the above or similar discrepancies in the NIFT admit card 2025, follow these steps:
- Keep yourapplication numberready
- Call the NIFT NTA helplinenumber from 9.30 am - 5.30 pm (Monday to Friday). You also may email the help desk.
- When writing the mail, don’t forget to mention your application number while explaining your issue in clear, logical terms.
- The NTA help desk will verify your details and take the required corrective measures.
- NTA willnot issue any fresh admit cards, so you may have to appear in the exam with the same admit card.
- You will have to carry the necessary ID proof and a clear passport-size photograph to the NIFT exam center.

NIFT Exam Day Instructions 2025
Candidates should follow the instructions mentioned below for a hassle-free examination process. The instructions are as follows:
- Candidates should cross-verify all the details in the NIFT admit card 2025.
- Candidates are required to carry their NIFT admit card 2025 to the examination center. With the NIFT hall ticket, candidates will be denied permission to enter the examination hall.
- Reach the exam centre at least 30 minutes before the NIFT exam starts. Late comers will not be allowed to enter the NIFT exam centre 2025.
- You won’t be allowed to leave the exam hall before the NIFT exam is over.
- Carry sharpeners, erasers, blue and black ballpoint pens, pencils and dry colours for the CAT exam to the test centre.
- Do not carry electronic devices like mobile phones or digital watches inside the examination centre for NIFT.
- The candidate has to carry their NIFT 2025 admit card and a valid photo ID proof. Don't forget toattach a passport-size photographon the admit card.
- What if I don't carry the documents?The candidate who doesn't carry the mandatory documents cannot take the exam. So, the candidate must check the list of mandatory documents and bring them to the exam center.
- Left-hand thumb impressionmust be put in the designated space on the admit card.
- Carrytwo additional photographs(sameas the one uploaded on the online application form). The photographs have to be pasted on the admit card.Note that the NIFT 2025 exam will be conducted in a center-based mode.
- Blank paper sheetswill be provided to the candidate inside the exam hall for calculations and writing work. You need towrite your name and roll numberat thetop of each sheet. After the exam,drop the sheet in the designated Drop Box. If you don't drop the sheet in the box, your answer booklet may not be evaluated.
- You can carry atransparent water bottleto the exam hall.Diabeticstudents are, additionally, allowed to carry eatables like sugar tablets/fruits (like bananas/apples/oranges).But note thatpacked foodslike chocolate, candy, sandwiches, etc., are not allowed.
- The candidate isallowed to carrya simple transparentball ballpoint pen, pencils, erasers, and rulers(in atransparent pouch).
- CAT Applicantsare allowed to carry coloring and drawing material in atransparent pencil box. Also, physical question booklets with space for responses will be provided to the CAT applicant inside the exam hall.
- Proper frisking will be done at the exam center. So, make sure you are not carrying any electronic gadgets or barred items.

Separate Admit cards for Situation Test/Personal Interview
The 2nd stage of the NIFT 2025 admission process includes the Situation Test/ Personal Interview. Candidates will be shortlisted for the 2nd stage based on their performance in the NIFT 2025 written exams. Separate admit cards will be released for the NIFT 2025 Situation Test/Personal Interview. The candidate will have to download the admit card using their email ID and password.
Venue for the Situation Test, Mode
The Situation Test will be conducted atvarious NIFT campuses. The mode of the test will be offline. Shortlisted candidates will have to select the campus of their choice within the given window.The allotment of campuses will be done on a first-come, first-served basis.The personal interview will be conducted online via a Zoom link.
Thetimings of the examswill be mentioned on the NIFT 2025 admit card for the Situation Test/ Personal Interview.
Items allowed at the NIFT 2025 exam center
The following items are allowed (required) inside the NIFT 2025 exam center.
- A personal transparent water bottle
- A simple transparent ballpoint pen, pencil, eraser, and ruler. The items must be carried in a transparent pouch.
- A-4 Transparent Acrylic board
- A printout of the NIFT 2025 admit cardtaken on A4-sized paper and duly filled in.
- TWO additional photographs: Don’t forget to bring TWO extra photographs to be attached to the attendance sheet.
- Original photo ID proof
- Additional stationery allowed for CAT candidates - Candidates appearing in the Creative Ability Test (CAT) are also allowed to carry coloring (only Dry colors are allowed) and drawing materials.

The candidate is NOT allowed to carry instruments, handbag, purse, any kind of paper / textual material (printed or written material),eatables(loose or packed),electronic gadgets(mobile phone, earphone, microphone, pager, calculator, camera, tape recorder, electronic watches, etc),Docu Pen, Slide Rules,Log Tables, with facilities of calculator, orany metallic itemin the examination hall/room.
Smoking, chewing gutka, spitting, etc., are also strictly prohibited inside the exam hall.
Note: Any candidate found in possession of the above-listed items will be disqualified. Further, the candidate may be barred from future examinations conducted by the NTA.
