Terms and conditions for GRE Registration Fee Payment
The GRE exam fee must be paid at the end of GRE registration. Here are a few terms that are to be considered while making payment for the GRE test fee.
- The payment of the GRE test fee mode can be online or other modes apart from cash.
- Payment must be made completely to avail of any product or service.
- No service or product is provided in the event of non-payment of the fee due.
- Users are required to complete all the outstanding payments to get registered for any further ETS service.
- Indian applicants registering online can pay the GRE exam fee in Indian rupees (INR).

When paying for the GRE exam, candidates may be required to enter an authentication number or one-time password (OTP) to confirm their identity as the cardholder. A sale may be rejected if certain facts are not entered. The applicant should get in touch with their relevant bank or institution if they are unsure of their 3D-secure passcode/password or have not received their OTP.
Without providing users with prior notice, the ETS maintains the right to introduce or eliminate any payment alternatives related to the GRE exam price or any other service.
GRE Rescheduling and Cancellation Fee
Within four days of the GRE exam date, candidates can use their ETS account to postpone or cancel the test. There will be no reimbursement of the GRE exam cost if this deadline is missed. GRE Score Reporting Fee
Upon the announcement of the GRE results, individuals can submit their scores to colleges that accept the exam for admissions reasons. The cost of the GRE exam itself includes this score reporting fee. Up to four universities can receive the test results from students.
Candidates can obtain additional sore reports (ASRs) at a cost of $35 per, should they choose to submit to further colleges.
The score reinstatement cost is $50 if the applicant is unhappy with their overall GRE score and would like it to be changed.

The GRE exam, which is one of the most widely accepted assessments for graduate school and professional courses, will now only take less than two hours on September 22, 2023. This announcement was made by ETS, the organization that administers the exam. On September 22, 2023, the GRE General Test was shortened. There were 26 fewer Verbal and Quantitative Reasoning questions, as well as one Analytical Writing essay, which helped to lessen test-taking fatigue.
