The NTA will release the CUET PG 2025 result shortly on the official website. The CUET PG 2025 exam was held from March 13 to 31, 2025, by the exam authority. Difference between CUET PG Marks, Percentile, and Ranks

  • CUET PG Marks – These are the actual marks obtained by candidates in the entrance test, indicating their performance in every subject.
  • CUET PG Ranks – Candidates are ranked based on the marks scored in the test to ease the admissions, reflecting each candidate's rank in comparison to others.
  • CUET PG Percentile – This measure reflects the comparison of a candidate's score with that of other candidates, where the raw scores are converted into a scale of 100 to 0 for every set of candidates.

How CUET PG Percentile is calculated?

The CUET PG Percentile is the percentage of test-takers obtaining a score which is equal to or less than that particular percentile in the examination. The highest possible score in a session equals a Percentile of 100, given to the highest scorer. The CUET PG percentile scores are derived using the formula given below.

CUET PG Normalization Process

Since the test is conducted in several sessions, the administration employs the CUET PG normalization procedure to ensure candidates who had a more difficult paper compared to others are not unjustly disadvantaged. After determining the percentile scores, they will be merged and are known as NTA scores. The administration employs these NTA scores to derive the CUET PG results as well as admissions process.
