XAT Result 2025 - Release Date, Direct Link, How to Download Scorecard PDF, Rank List

XAT 2025 Result is expected to be declared in the third week of January 2025 once the exam is concluded on january 5, 2025. The exact date of the XAT result will be announced once XAT Notification is released. The XAT Scorecard will be released on the official website of XLRI, Jamshedpur, and the students will be able to download their scorecard by using their login credentials. The XAT scorecard will include details like candidate's name, roll number, exam date and time, sectional score, and percentile. 

The candidates who qualify the XAT exam will be then eligible to apply for XLRI and other 1000 top B-Schools for MBA/PGDM programs. The final selection will however depend on the XAT performance and the PI round.

Steps to check the XAT Result and Scorecard

To check the XAT Results and scorecard, the candidate needs to visit the official website. Candidates may follow the below steps to check their XAT results and scorecards.

• Visit the official website of XAT
• Click on the XAT Scorecard tab
• Enter login credentials
• The XAT results will be displayed on the screen
• Download and take a printout of the scorecard. The scorecard must be preserved till the XAT Admission Process is completed.

The XAT Result cum scorecard contains the details like the personal details and scores of the candidates. Candidates must ensure that the following details are mentioned in the scorecard.

• Name of the candidate
• Adress of the candidate
• Gender
• XAT ID
• Date of the XAT Exam

• validity of the Scorecard
• Sectional Percentile

How to calculate the XAT Score?

To  calculate the XAT scores the candidates need to understand the marking scheme of the XAT scheme. candidates can refer to the below table to check the marking scheme.

What is the XAT Score Calculation process?

• The sum total of marks obtained in VA, DM, and QA is listed in the scorecard for all the candidates
• GK and Essay scores are not included in the XAT scores and percentile
• Qualifying candidates are then ranked according to the marks obtained in the XAT exam
• To achieve the percentile score, the candidate's rank is divided by the total number of test takers and then multiplied by 100

Formula for calculating the XAT Percentile Score

Let us suppose 80,000 students take the exam and the rank of a candidate is 500, then the XAT percentile will be:

79,500/80,000 x 100 = 99.375%

What after the XAT 2025 Result?

Once the XAT Results are announced, XLRI will announce the cutoffs for the Business Management (BM) and Human Resource Management (HRM) courses. Those who clear this cutoff will be called for the Personal Interview (PI) once the candidate's fill the form expressing their interest in the PI round. Shortlisted canddiates will be called for the PI round. The candidate's final selection will solely depend on the candidate's XAT performance, PI, and the academic performance. Extra marks are awarded based on the diversity, gender, and work experience. 

The admissions will be conducted individually for all colleges. The admission process will include the XAT score, GD/Pi and academics. Also, this remains same for all colleges, but the cutoffs for other colleges for MBA/PGDM will be lower than that of XLRI.
