VITEEE Exam 2025: Exam Date (Out), Registration, Eligibility, Syllabus, Exam Pattern

The VITEEE 2025 application form has been released on the official website of VIT - viteee.vit.ac.in. To appear for this prestigious examination, the candidates will need to fill out the application form online by registering themselves on the website, filling the VITEEE application form, and paying the requisite application fees. The last date to fill out the VITEEE application form 2025 is set for 31st March 2025, and the exam is scheduled from 21st to 27th April 2025 as an online computer based test (CBT). 

The candidates who wish to apply for the exam are advised to check the VITEEE eligibility criteria. Only those aspirants who fulfill this eligibility criteria will be allowed to appear and apply for the exam, and those who do not fit in this criteria will not be able to apply. The VITEEE exam paper consists of 125 multiple choice questions (MCQs) to be answered in 2.3 hours. VITEEE 2025 result will consist of the scores and ranks obtained in the entrance exam. What is the VITEEE Exam?

Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Examination is conducted by the Vellore Institute of Technology every year for admission to undergraduate engineering courses (BTech) of participating institutes. Every year, VITEEE is held to get students enrolled in various undergraduate courses. Around two lakh students apply for VITEEE every year. All the eligible candidates will be offered admission to B.Tech programmes at VIT Vellore, Chennai, Bhopal and Amravati. Since 2018, the university has been offering admission to B. Des (Industrial Design) through VITEEE.

VITEEE 2025 Application Form

The VITEEE 2025 Application Form was made available at the official website, viteee.vit.ac.in on Novemenr 4, 2024. Candidates may complete the VITEEE 2025 application form till March 31, 2025. Dates for the VITEEE 2025 exams have been released on the official website. The test will take place between April 22 and April 27, 2025.

Step 1: Registration for VITEEE Application Form 2025

Candidates must register on the VIT university website by providing their basic personal information to begin the application process. Following registration, the login information and password will be mailed to the registered email address. Below are the steps to register for the exam.

• Visit the official website of VITEEE – viteee.vit.ac.in
• Enter the following details to begin with the registration process.

1. Full Name
2. Email Address
3. Contact Number
4. Date of Birth
5. Gender
6. Verification Code

• Check the check box at the end, and click on Register.
• Once submitted, a user ID and Password will be generated, which is shared to the registered Email ID provided by the candidate in the second step.

Note: Since the candidates' registered mobile numbers and email addresses will be used for any correspondence from the exam authorities, they must be genuine. The authorities will never accept a request to change a person's mobile phone number, email address, or correspondence address

Step 2: Verifying the login information of VITEEE 2025 Application Form

Candidates must click "Registered Users" and log in using their username and password after obtaining them. After submitting these, candidates will move on to the following page, where they must fill out the application form's data.

Step 3: Fill Out the VITEEE Application Form 2025

Candidates must complete all the information requested on the VITEEE 2025 application form. Before completing the VITEEE 2025 application form, candidates are also urged to read the steps that must be taken.

• Visit the official website of VITEEE.
• Login using the User ID and Password created at the time of registration.
• Begin filling the application form, and submit all the details like - personal, contact, education, work experience, address, and other details.

• Once all the information has been entered, click the submit and next buttons. This step's submission will result in the generation of an application number and a payment option. The following window will open as soon as the candidate chooses the payment method — Net Banking, Credit Card, or Debit Card— and click Proceed to Pay.

Step 4: Fee Payment of VITEEE 2025 Application Form

Here, candidates will have to pay the application fees via Net banking/ Credit/ Debit card. The candidates can pay the application fee of VITEEE 2025 Application Form by following this step-by-step procedure.

Select Card option > Enter Card number > Enter card holder's name > Enter card's expiry date > Enter CVV number > Click on Pay now. Below is the application fee to be paid by the candidates.

Candidates must note that the application fees is non-refundable under all circumstances.

Step 5: Uploading the scanned documents

The candidates here muts upload a scanned copy of their photograph and signature as per the format and specifications listed below.

Step 6: Submit the Application Form

As the last step, review your application form and click on the final submit option. Candidates are advised to download and take a printout of the VITEEE application form for further use. Also, the application form should be preserved till the admission process is completed.

VITEEE 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Before applying for the VITEEE Exam, the candidates must be familiar with the eligibility criteria of the exam. The VITEEE eligibility criteria is detailed below.

Nationality

• The applicant for VITEEE should be a Resident / Non-Resident Indian National / OCI / PIO Holder.
•  NRI applicants can directly apply under 'NRI Category' through NRI application form. (Will be available shortly) (https://vit.ac.in/admissions/international/overview)
•  Foreign applicants who studied/studying abroad can apply directly through the International application form.(Will be available shortly)

Age Limit

• Candidates whose date of birth falls on or after 1st July 2003 are eligible to apply for VITEEE-2025.Candidates who fail to produce this certificate in original as proof of their age at the time of counselling, shall stand disqualified.
• The date of birth as recorded in the High School / SSC / X Certificate will be considered authentic.
• Applicants should produce this certificate in original as proof of their age at the time of counselling/admission, failing which their candidacy for admission will be disqualified.

Qualifying Examination

• Candidates appearing for the VITEEE-2025 should have either completed or shall be appearing in 2025, in any one of the following qualifying examinations:
• The final examination of the 10+2 system, conducted by any recognized Central/ State Board, such as the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi; Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations or any other Board accepted by VIT as equivalent to 10+2 examination.
• Intermediate or two-year Pre-University Examination conducted by a recognized Board/ University.
• General Certificate Education (GCE) examination (London/Cambridge/Sri Lanka) at the Advanced (A) level.
• High School Certificate Examination of the Cambridge University or International Baccalaureate Diploma of the International Baccalaureate Office, Geneva. (Physics & Mathematics - HL, Chemistry - SL).
• Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by the National Institute of Open Schooling with minimum of 5 subjects as recognized by central board.
• Applicants who have completed the Class 12 (or equivalent) examination outside India should produce an equivalence certificate to the effect that the examination they have passed is equivalent to the Class 12 Examination with grade/CGPA converted to percentage.
• Candidates who have studied in Regular, Full Time and Formal Education are alone eligible to apply. Candidates who have appeared for multiple board examinations in the same academic year are not eligible.
• For Indian nationals attending VITEEE 2025 is mandatory to be eligible for B.Tech. admission.
• In case VITEEE 2025 gets cancelled due to natural calamities or causes beyond the control of the institute, qualifying criteria may be substituted with higher secondary marks. Applicants shall be informed accordingly.

Requirement in the Qualifying Examination

• Applicants should be qualified for admission to collegiate education.
• Applicants applying for the Undergraduate Engineering admission in 2025 should have passed with minimum aggregate of 60% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology (PCM/PCB/PCMB) in the qualifying examination (+2/Intermediate).
• Applicants applying for the Undergraduate Engineering admission in 2025 should have passed with minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology in the qualifying examination (+2/Intermediate) for the following categories :

Applicants belonging to SC/ST

Applicants hailing from Jammu and Kashmir/ Ladakh and the Northeastern states of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura. Certificate to prove community / nativity should be produced at the time of counselling, failing which they will not be considered for admission.

Subject Eligibility

• PCMB/PCM applicants who have attempted Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, English and Aptitude (MPCEA) in VITEEE 2025 are eligible for all B.Tech. Programmes.
• PCMB/PCB applicants who have attempted Biology, Physics, Chemistry, English and Aptitude (BPCEA) in VITEEE 2025 & PCB applicants who have attempted Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, English and Aptitude (MPCEA) in VITEEE 2025 are eligible only for the following programmes:

2. B.Tech. Computer Science and Engineering (Bioinformatics), (VIT - Vellore)
3. B.Tech. Electronics and Communication Engineering (Biomedical Engineering), (VIT - Vellore)

VITEEE 2025 Slot Booking

Registered candidates will be able to access their VITEEE 2025 slot booking facility online. For the slot booking process, the candidates will have to log in using their VITEEE 2025 application form number and password. All candidates will have to book their VIT 2025 slots for the examination as per their preference and availability. Since the VITEEE slot booking 2025 is done on a first-come-first-serve basis, the candidates are advised to check the complete the process quickly. Once the slots are booked, no requests to change it will be accepted. VITEEE 2025 admit card will be generated after the slots are booked.

VITEEE 2025 Admit Card

The VITEEE 2025 Admit card will be made available online starting in the fourth week of June 2025. Once an applicant reserves a test slot via the online test booking system, an admit card is generated for them.

Candidates must submit their application form number and online test booking password in order to download the admission card. To sit for the exam, the individual needs to bring their admit card with them.

VITEEE 2025 Mock Test

The authorities will release the VITEEE 2025 mock test soon. Through the mock test, the candidates will be able to know how the exam will be conducted and have practical experience. VITEEE 2025 Result

Candidates have the option of checking their results online. The second week of July 2025 will see the announcement of the VITEEE 2025 results. They will be informed via their registered mobile number of the candidate's rank. A merit list will be created based on the overall entrance test scores.

Candidates must log in using their application number and password in order to view their results. Take a printout of the results for the counselling phase of the admissions process.

VITEEE 2025 Cut Off

After the announcement of the VITEEE results, the VITEEE 2025 cutoff marks will be made public. The number of applicants, the exam, its level of difficulty, and other variables will all be taken into consideration by the institute when determining the cutoff marks. Following that, each institute will announce its preferred cutoff scores.

This list will be created individually by the authority (branch wise and campus wise). The candidate's chances of being chosen for their favourite institute are directly correlated with the VITEEE scores they received.

VITEEE 2025 Counselling
