The TS ICET syllabus is released on the official website of the exam. The exam authorities release the syllabus in PDF format which can be downloaded directly from the conducting body website or through the PDF link given on this page.

The syllabus for TSICET is distinctively divided into three major sections – Analytical Ability, Mathematical Ability, and Communication Ability. Each of these sections is further divided into sub-sections. The analytical and mathematical ability sections carry 75 questions each, while the communication ability section has 50 questions.

Section A – Analytical Ability

The first section in the TS ICET question paper is the analytical ability section. This section aims to test the candidates’ analyzing skills like relationships, series, pie charts, and more. Section B: Mathematical Ability

How do I prepare for TSICET?

Candidates must prepare for the TSICET exam by following the below-mentioned steps: - Get aware of the exam details, including pattern, syllabus, and more - Take mock tests - Know strengths and weaknesses and plan accordingly - Practise previous year question papers and TSICET mock tests.

Is there negative marking in TSICET?

Telangana ICET exam pattern mentions the sections, marking scheme and number of questions in the question paper. As per the TSICET exam pattern, the question paper comprises 200 questions. Candidates are given one mark for every correct answer and there is no negative marking for incorrect responses.

What is the syllabus for TSICET exam?

TS ICET exam comprises questions from several topics based on three sections. These three sections include - Analytical Ability - Mathematical Ability - Communication Ability Analytical and Mathematical ability sections have 75 questions each. On the contrary, the Communication Ability section has 50 questions. TS ICET syllabus is similar to syllabus of any other MBA entrance exam. The Communication Ability section of the TSICET exam has the least number of questions, I. e. 50. While the other two sections have 75 questions each. Kakatiya University has divided all the three sections of the exam into sub sections. Problem Solving sub section under Analytical Ability has the maximum number of questions, I. e. 55. Candidates must prepare for the TSICET exam keeping the weightage in mind to fetch the best results.

What are some important topics included in Communication Ability section of TSICET exam?

The Communication Ability section of the TSICET exam has four sub-sections. These sub-sections compile to fetch 50 questions. The division of topics with weightage under the Communication Ability is as follows: Vocabulary: 10; Business and Computer Terminology: 10; Functional Grammar: 15; Reading Comprehension: 15. With respect to the question weight, 60 per cent of the questions in the Communication Ability section are based on Functional Grammar and Reading Comprehension. While the remaining 40 per cent is fetched by questions on Vocabulary and Business and Computer Terminology.

What are some important topics included in Mathematical Ability section of TSICET exam?

Mathematical Ability section of TSICET exam is divided into three sub sections, namely Arithmetical Ability, Algebraical and Geometrical Ability and Statistical Ability. These sections have a question weightage of 35:30:10. Some of the important topics included in all these sub sections are Statements and Truth Tables, Areas and Volumes, Powers and Exponents, Relations and Functions Surds, LCM and GDC, Modular Arithmetic and Partnership. Candidates preparing for all these sections based on the Class 12 level books will be able to fetch a good score in TSICET exam's Mathematical Ability section.

What are important topics included in TSICET exam, Analytical Ability section?

Analytical Ability section of TSICET exam has questions from topics in Data Sufficiency and Problem-Solving sub sections. The important topics of Analytical Ability in the TSICET exam include Reasoning, Coding and Decoding Problems, Sequences and Series, Data Interpretation, Data Sufficiency, Problem Solving, Venn Diagrams, Complete the Blank Spaces, Pie Chart, and Data, Time and Arrangement Problems. Both parts of Analytical Ability section do not have equal weightage. Topics under Data Sufficiency frame 20 questions, while topics under Problem Solving frames 55 questions.
