The TS ICET Cutoffs are released by TSCHE along with the counselling details of the next session. Candidates can easily evaluate the TSICET last rank from the seat allotment list released on the official website - tsicet.nic.in. The admission to the TSICET participating colleges is entirely based on the last rank. Once the TSICET results are announced, candidates can download their rank cards and predict their admission calls based on the last session cutoff score.

TSICET cutoff is dependant on various factors like the students who applied for the exam, difficulty level of the exam, and other factors including the individual criteria for the participating institutes.

The TSICET 2025 cutoff scores refer to the minimum score that the candidates need to secure to get admission to the MBA and MCA programs offered by the participating institutes under the TSICET exam. TSICET Previous Year Cutoff Ranks

The rank obtained in TSICET for a particular year is valid for admission into the MBA/MCA course of all universities in Telangana State for the same academic year. The opening ranks for these colleges are expected to be around 1 - 1000. The closing ranks of these colleges may start from 1500 - 1800. The candidates can check the previous year’s closing ranks of top colleges of Telangana to have an idea of the upcoming session ranks.

TSICET 2025 Counselling

The TSICET 2025 counselling can be expected to begin in the month of September 2025. Based on the candidate's rank in TSICET exam, participating institutes will call candidates to attend the counselling session. Candidates are required to register for TSICET counselling and then attend the certificate verification process at the designated time, place and date. The seat will be allotted to the candidates based on their individual rank, college preferences and availability of seat.

Documents required for TSICET Counselling

Candidates must carry the following documents when appearing for the TSICET counselling.

  • TS ICET application and result sheet
  • TS ICET score card
  • SSC/Inter/Degree or equivalent marks memo
  • Study/Bonafide certificate from Class 9 to degree
  • Caste Certificate of SC/ST/BC/Minorities

TS ICET 2025 Score Normalisation Process

Candidates’ rank in TS ICET is determined based on their normalised exam scores of the candidates. The normalisation of TS ICET 2024 scores facilitates the ranking of candidates for subsequent admission procedures.The formula for calculating TS ICET normalised marks is:

GASD+GTA-GASDSTA-SASD (marks secured by candidate in a session-SASD)

Here,

  • GASD is the Sum of Average (A) and Standard Deviation (SD) of candidates across all sessions.
  • SASD means the Sum of Average (A) and Standard Deviation (SD) of the subject in the session attempted by the candidate.
  • GTA is the Average mark of the top 0.1% of all candidates across all sessions of the subject combined.
  • STA represents the Average mark of the top 0.1% of candidates in the session's subject where the candidate appeared.

What is the cut off for TS ICET exam?

The TS ICET qualify marks for BC or General are 25%, which means candidates have to get 50 out of 200 marks to qualify for the test. However, no minimum marks are defined for SC/ST candidates. Those who meet the qualifying TS ICET cutoff have to appear for TG ICET counselling rounds.

How many qualified in TS ICET 2024?

As many as 71,647 candidates qualified for the admissions based on TS ICET 2024 ranks. Out of the total 77942 test takers, 6295 have not been issued any rank. Only the qualified candidates get the TS ICET rank for MBA/MCA admissions in Telangana.
