TS ICET Exam 2025: Check Exam Dates, Application Form, Syllabus, Eligibility, Cutoff, & More

TS ICET 2024: The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TGSCHE) began the TSICET final phase counselling on 20th September, and the last date for the TS ICET Certificate Verification at helpline centers was 1st October 2024. Candidates could complete the entire counselling process online through the official website of ts icet - icet.tsche.ac.in. All eligible candidates can exercise TSICET special phase web options between October 1 and 2. As per the counselling dates, TGICET special phase allotment results have been announced on October 4.

Once the TS ICET results were declared, the candidates who passed the exam were allotted a rank by TGCHE. All the candidates with a TS ICET rank were eligible to appear for the TS ICET counselling and the seat allotment process. This year, 86,514 candidates registered for the Telangana Integrated Common Entrance Test. Out of these, around 77942 candidates took the TS ICET 2024 exam across two days.  All qualifiers passed with a percentage of 91.92 with 71,647 meeting the primary eligibility condition for Telangana MBA centralised counselling process.

What is the TS ICET Exam?

The Telangana State Integrated Common Entrance Test (TSICET) is a state-level entrance exam conducted for admissions to the MBA and MCA programs offered by the various institutions and universities in Telangana. The TS ICET exam is conducted every year by the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TGSCHE) on behalf of Kakatiya University, Telangana.  Last year more than 75,000 test takers applied for the exam, and this year as well the number of test takers was similar. The TS ICET exam is a computer-based-test conducted for a duration of 2.5 hours and the question paper has 200 MCQ based questions and is conducted in almost 14 cities across Telangana.

TSICET Exam Highlights

The TSICET exam is an online computer based test conducting every year by TGSCHE on behalf of Kakatiya University, Telangana. It is a two and a half hours exam with 200 MCQ type questions. Check the important highlights of the TSICET exam tabulated below.

TS ICET Exam Date & Schedule

The TS ICET 2024 exam was conducted on 5th and 6th June, and the spot counselling results were announced on 8th October. TS ICET Eligibility Criteria

TSICET Academic Eligibility

• Candidates must have an overall grade point average of at least 50% and be graduates of any discipline (45 percent for reserved category candidates)
• Candidates in their final year are eligible to apply for the TSICET 2025.
• Candidates with a degree in Oriental Language (any) are not eligible to apply.

TSICET Nationality Criteria

• Candidate must be an Indian citizen
• The Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulations of Admission) Order, 1974 stipulates that applicants must be citizens of India and meet all requirements for local/non-local status.
• Foreign nationals seeking admission through the TSICET must meet the general and unique qualifying requirements outlined by the relevant Universities.

TSICET Admit Card

The TSICET admit card is an important document to be carried to the exam hall along with a valid photo ID proof like Aadhar card, voter ID, etc. The admit card can be downloaded online from the TSICET official website. TS ICET admit card contains details about the exam like the candidate's name, address, exam date, exam time, exam venue, and other exam day instructions.

Steps To Download The TSICET Admit Card

To download TS ICET 2025 admit card, the candidates need to follow the below steps.

• Visit the official website of TSICET
• On the homepage, locate the TSICET Hall Ticket download link and click on it
• Enter the Registration Number, Date of Birth, and the qualifying examination Hall Ticket number
• The ICET hall ticket will be displayed on the screen 
• Download and take a printout of the same for future use

TS ICET Exam Pattern

TSICET Syllabus

TS ICET Answer Key

The TSICET Answer Key is released by TSCHE within a week of the conduct of the exam. Initially the preliminary answer key is released for all the sets. The candidates also get an option to raise objection to the answer key. The authorities will review the answer key objections and then accordingly the final answer key is drafted. Once the final answer key is released the results are prepared on the final answer key.

TSICET Results

The TS ICET results are announced in the form of rank cards after the final answer key is released. The results are announced on the official website, and the candidates can check the result using the login credentials like the ICET hall ticket number, registration number, and date of birth. Candidates must secure a qualifying percentage to get a call from the participating colleges for the counselling round. Candidates belonging to unreserved categories must secure 25 percent to qualify for the exam, while the reserved categories do not have any minimum qualifying score.

TS ICET Question Papers

After the TS ICET exam is conducted the TSCHE authorities release the question papers for all the shifts in PDF format. TS ICET Qualifying Cutoff 2025

TS ICET Counselling

Based on the TS ICET 2024 Merit List, the qualified candidates will be able to participate in the TS ICET counselling process. The TS ICET Counselling process 2025 has been discussed below.

• Registration – All the candidates who are selected for TSICET Counselling must register themselves by filling out the registration form at the counselling center.
• Certificate verification – Once the registration is done, the candidates must report to the counseling center with the required list of documents mentioned below for certificate verification.
• Online Web Options Entry & Freezing or Locking of Options – After the certificate verification, the conducting body will release an online portal for the candidates where they have to enter their preference of colleges in the online portal and lock it.
• TSICET 2024 Seat Allotment – During the seat allotment process, the choices that have been locked before the deadline will be considered for seat allocation. The final seat allotment will be made on the basis of the Merit list and availability of seats apart from the candidate's choice.
• Payment of Fee and Reporting in the allotted college
• The next step is the payment of the fee. Candidates are required to download the bank challan from the online website.
• The fee can be paid in any of the Andhra Bank or Indian Bank in the state of Telangana.
• Candidates will receive proof of the payment and with this receipt, the candidates must report to the allotted colleges.

Documents Required for TSICET 2025 Counselling

Candidates appearing for TSICET 2025 Counselling are required to take certain documents to the counseling center. Candidates of all categories must carry these documents:

• Rank Card
• TSICET Admit Card
• Mark sheet of SSC / Intermediate or Equivalent Qualifying Examination
• Class IX to Degree Certificates
• Caste & Income certificate issued on or after April 1, 2024
• Transfer Certificate of Degree or Equivalent
• Residence Certificate
• In the case of non-local candidates' residential certificate of either of their parents in Telangana for 10 years excluding the period of employment outside Telangana from Tehsildar.
• Aadhar Card
