NID 2025 Exam Registration: How to Apply, Application Correction, and NID Application Fees

The NID Registration are ongoing since 3rd September 2024, and the last date to register for the NID exam is today, 3rd December 2024. Candidates can fill out the NID application form online on the official website - nid.org.in till 3rd December 2024. The candidates need to first register for the NID exam on the admission portal, and then fill out the application form of NID. To complete the application process, the candidates will need to pay an application fees of INR 3000 (General Category) and INR 1500 (Reserved category). If the candidates fail to make the payment for the NID exam, their application will not be considered complete. Therefore, candidates must pay the fees before deadline through online mode only.

The National Institute of Design will also open the NID application correction window where the candidates can make necessary changes in the application form if required. It is to be noted that only certain information is editable in the correction window, and thus, the candidates must be very careful while filling out the NID registration and application form. The NID correction window will be opened from 4th to 9th December 2024. The NID exam (prelims) will be conducted on 5th January 2025. Step 1: Registration

The first step here si to register for the NID exam. To register for the NID exam, follow the below steps:

• Visit the official website of NID
• Enter the details like your Name, Email, Phone, etc.
• Once entered, click on the signup button and a confirmation email will be sent to you
• Verify the email and complete the registration

Step 2: Filling Out the Application Form

The next step after registration is to fill out the NID application form. To fill out this form, candidates should follow the below mentioned steps:

• Visit the official website
• Login using the credentials created at the time of the registration
• Start filling out the form by entering your personal, contact, and educational details

Step 3: Upload the relevant documents

The third step here is to upload the necessary documents. Candidates should upload the documents in the specified format only to avoid getting the application rejected. Candidates need to upload the following documents.

Step 4: Pay the Requisite application fees

NID DAT 2025 Application - Submission of application with Late Fees

The deadline to pay the NID DAT 2024 application with regular fees is December 3, 2024. 

For applications submitted between December 5 (4 pm) and December 7 (4 pm), a late fee amount will be levied. This amount will be in addition to the application fee. It is to be noted that the late fee amount is equivalent to 50% of the application fee.

NID DAT Application Form Correction

The window to edit the NID DAT 2025 application form will open soon after the application form closes. Candidates can make some corrections in the NID DAT 2025 application form by accessing the edit window. Note that while some information in the form can be edited, other details like name, date of birth, etc., cannot be edited.
