The MHT CET Exam Pattern 2025 has been released by the CET Cell on its official website. The candidates can view the same on this page or visit the official website of the exam. The MHT CET is an online computer-based test (CBT) conducted for 3 hours.
The MHT CET exam is divided into 2 groups - PCM (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics) and PCB (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology). Candidates interested for admission to engineering courses have to appear in the PCM group while the candidates for pharmacy courses have to appear in the PCB group. The selection of PCM/PCB courses has to be made while filling the MHT CET 2025 application form.
As per the MHT CET syllabus, a total of 20% weightage is given to the questions from the class 11 syllabus, and 80% weightage to the questions from the class 12 syllabus while setting the question paper. Each paper will be of 100 marks and the duration will be 90 minutes.

MHT CET 2025 Difficulty Level
The difficulty level of MHT CET is similar to JEE Main, as stated by the exam conducting authority. MHT CET 2025 will be conducted in two slots. As per the previous year question paper of MHT CET, it has been observed that the MHT CET exam was quite the same as JEE Main. On the other hand, the difficulty level of Biology has been at par with the NEET UG exam. For candidates seeking admission to Engineering and Technology degree courses, it is mandatory to appear for Paper-1 and Paper-2. The questions in the MHT CET exam will be application-based.
