The Maharashtra CET Cell began the MHT CET 2025 Registration on December 30 and the registrations are currently in process. Candidates willing to apply for the exam must register themselves, and fill out the form before the deadline which is February 15, 2025. The form must only be filled online, and the last date to fill the form with a late fee of INR 500 is 22nd February 2025.
The MHT CET exam date has been announced, and the exam for the PCM group or engineering will be held from April 19 to 27, 2025, while the PCB group or pharmacy exam will be conducted from April 9 to 17, 2025 as an online computer-based test (CBT).

What is the MHT CET Exam?
The full form of MHT CET is the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT CET) and it is a state-level entrance examination conducted for admission to B.E./, B. Tech, B. Pharm programs offered by several Government and Private institutions across the state of Maharashtra. MHT CET is conducted once a year and candidates belonging to the other states can also apply for the exam.
The Maharashtra State Government has formulated fresh regulations for the admission process of B. Tech and other professional degree programs starting from the academic session of 2024-25. According to the information, beginning in 2024, the marks obtained in class 12 carry significance for admission into B. Tech and other courses, in addition to the MHT CET scores. Both class 12 marks and CET scores will be given equal weightage.

MHT CET Eligibility Criteria

For Maharashtra State Candidates
Candidates must have passed class 12/appearing in class 12 in 2024
Candidate should have Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with any one subject among Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/Business Studies in class 12
Candidate must obtain at least 45% marks in class 12. Candidates belonging to the backward class, Economically Weaker Section, and Persons with Disability category should obtain at least 40 % marks in class 12
Non-Maharashtra Candidates
Candidates who are not from Maharashtra are also eligible to appear in MHT CET. Non-Maharashtra candidates also have the option of applying for BTech admission through JEE Main.
MHT CET reservation policies do not apply to candidates not belonging to Maharashtra.
OCI/PIO/NRI Candidates
OCI/PIO and NRI candidates are exempted from appearing in MHT CET. Such candidates can apply for admission based on class 12/equivalent exams. Separate counselling for OCI/PIO/NRI candidates is held separately after the admission process of MHT CET.

The Maharashtra State CET Cell provides thefacility to correct/modify the filled application form. - Change Subject Group:Under the change subject group, the subjects can be changed from PCM to PCB or PCB to PCM.

MHT CET Exam Pattern 2025
MHT CET Question Papers consist of a total of 150 and 200 questions for Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, and Physics, Chemistry, and Biology group candidates respectively. The Exam Pattern offers 20% weightage to the 11th class curriculum and the remaining 80% to 12th class curriculum. The total time duration of the paper is 90 minutes. Each MHT CET Paper will be of 100 marks.

MHT CET 2025 Exam Centers
MHTCET Exam will be conducted in 100 cities across Maharashtra state and a few cities outside Maharashtra.
