The Lovely Professional University (LPU) has announced the LPUNEST 2025 Exam dates for Phase 1, and the exam will be conducted as an Internet Based Test (IBT) or Remote Proctored Exam, and Test Centre Based exam. The IBT exam will be conducted from 10th January to 5th February while the Test Centre Based exam will be conducted from 20th January - 5th February 2025. The LPUNEST Registration last date is set for 15th January 2025, and the LPUNEST Slot Booking Process has begn from 10th December 2024. Once the exam is concluded on 5th February, the Lovely Professional University Entrance Exam result will be declared on 8th February 2025.

• For the above mentioned Schedule, LPU is providing the following options to conduct the LPUNEST Exam provides students with the flexibility to choose the most convenient option for appearing in the exam:
  • Online Remotely Proctored LPUNEST Exam from Home: This option is recommended by the university, and it is based on available resources. You can find the general guidelines. The remotely proctored exam will be monitored live through various Artificial Intelligence tools and invigilators.
  • Test Centre-Based Exam: You can also opt for a traditional test center-based exam.
• Please note that the declaration date of offline exam results may vary from the schedule mentioned above. Candidates will receive their test results directly within their portal.
• Applicants are strongly advised not to wait until the last dates mentioned above and should apply for LPUNEST and the interview as early as possible to avoid a last-minute rush. Keep in mind that this schedule is tentative, and dates or other details mentioned are subject to change at the discretion of the university. There will be no separate intimation or announcement to any applicants.
• If seats remain vacant, subsequent phases of admission will be conducted. Candidates can select any suitable venue (if applicable), date, and time, subject to availability. It is recommended not to wait until the last moment, as you may not get the desired venue (if applicable), date, and time for the exam.

LPUNEST Eligibility Criteria

The LPUNEST eligibility criteria refers to the minimum qualifications, nationality, age limit, and the important factors that the candidates must fulfil to sit for the exam. Candidates must meet the following Eligibility Criteria to be admitted to Lovely Professional University's BTech and MBA Programs.

Nationality

Only Indian nationals may apply for the LPUNEST (BTech).

Qualifying Examination

Applicants for LPUNEST (BTech) must have either completed or will be appearing in the final examination of 10+2 from the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE, New Delhi) or The Council for Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE, New Delhi) or any other Council, Institution, college, etc. in 2022. The board must be recognized by the Council of Boards of School Education (COBSE), New Delhi, or any other appropriate governing body.

Eligibility Criteria in the Qualifying Examination:

• Candidates must have obtained 60%* aggregate marks in 10+2 or equivalent (with Physics, Mathematics, and English) in order to qualify for the LPUNEST (B.Tech.).
• In terms of qualifying exam passing marks, North-East states and Sikkim candidates/Defense Personnel and their Dependents/Wards of Kashmiri Migrants receive a 5% relaxation.
• Outstanding athletes (i.e. A/A+ category as per Sports Scholarship) are eligible for a 10% reduction in qualifying exam passing marks, subject to verification by the University's Selection Committee. The selection committee must include the following members: the Head (DSW), the Director of Sports, the Deputy Director of Sports, the Concerned Coach, and the VC Nominee.
• Please keep in mind that if an applicant falls into both categories, only one relaxation will be granted.

Note: In case the applicant falls in both categories, then only one relaxation will be given.

For B.Tech. Biotechnology (BT), B.Tech. (Food Technology), B.Tech. (Biomedical Engineering) 

Subjects considered: Physics, Chemistry, English & either Maths or Biology or Biotechnology; other things remain the same as above.

For B.Tech. Chemical Engineering (CHE) and  B.Tech. (Petroleum Engineering)

LPUNEST Application Form

LPUNEST 2025 Registration for B.Tech and MBA programs has begun. Aspirants can apply for the exam both online and offline. University officials, on the other hand, encourage students to apply online for a faster, more efficient, and smoother application process.

LPUNEST 2025 Slot Booking

Candidates must fill out the exam center preference and book a slot for the online exam when filling out the LPUNEST 2025 Application Form. After submitting the application form, candidates must book an examination slot online.

• Candidates will be assigned slots on a first-come, first-served basis.
• It is strongly recommended that applicants book their exam slot as soon as possible to avoid any inconvenience later on.
• Failure to complete slot booking results in the non-issuance of an admit card.
• Candidates may reserve the center, date, and time of their choice at least three days before the desired date.
• Students can authorize the university to book a slot for them in addition to booking a slot according to their preferences. In such cases, the University will only allow one exam date (preferably from the options provided) based on exam slot availability.

LPUNEST Admit Card

Candidates who have reserved exam slots will receive their LPUNEST admit card 2025. After booking their slots, candidates will be able to download their online admit cards. The LPUNEST 2025 admit card will include candidate information such as name, course, exam venue, date and time, and exam day guidelines. Candidates who do not present their admit card on the day of the exam will not be permitted to take the exam.

LPUNEST Exam Pattern

LPUNEST Syllabus

The LPU NEST 2025 exam has no specific syllabus. It is advised that all applicants study material from the 11th and 12th grade curriculum. General awareness, verbal ability and reading comprehension, data interpretation and logical reasoning, and quantitative aptitude will all be covered on the MBA course syllabus, while the B.Tech curriculum will cover subjects like physics, math, chemistry, biology, aptitude, and english.

LPUNEST Exam Centers are located in over 200 cities throughout India. Except for public holidays and weekly off days, these test centers are open every day. However, in a few cities, LPUNEST exam centers are only open on certain days of the month. LPUNEST Cutoff

Lovely Professional University will announce the cut off and scholarship information for undergraduate and postgraduate students interested in enrolling in the institution through UCEED and CEED. The scholarship information and eligibility for the cutoff are divided into three categories, which are listed in the table below. 

• The University determines the minimum marks, which are based on a variety of factors.
• The cut-off is determined by the number of applicants, the number of available seats, the average performance in the entrance exam, and the previous year's cut-off. 
• Following the announcement of the cut-off, a Merit List will be created based on the candidates' performance in the entrance exam.

LPUNEST Counselling

The LPU NEST counselling is organized for those candidates who pass the examination. Candidates who have been shortlisted are contacted for the counseling process. The entire counselling process, as well as seat allocation, will take place online.

During the counselling process, candidates must provide their course preferences in order of preference. Seats will be assigned based on their performance in the exam. Candidates must bring their documents to the verification round of the counselling process.
