IIT Delhi has announced the IIT JAM 2025 exam date. The IIT JAM registrations was opened on the official website - jam2025.iitd.ac.in and the candidates could register for the exam till 19th October 2024. The IIT JAM 2025 exam will be conducted on 2nd February 2025 as an online computer-based-test. The exam will be conducted across 100 cities in the nation for admission to the various MSc, and integrated MSc and PhD programs offered by the 22 participating IITs.
The IIT JAM application process will entirely be carried out through the JOAPS admission portal, and the candidates will be registering themselves using the email ID, phone number, and password. What is the IIT JAM exam?
The Joint Admission Test for MSc (JAM) is an all India national level examination conducted by the Indian Institute of Technologies (IITs) every year on a rotational basis on behalf of the Ministry of Human Resource Development , Government of India. The IIT JAM exam is conducted for admission to the various MSc and integrated MSc PhD courses offered by the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bengaluru. IIT JAM Eligibility Criteria
Before the aspirants start applying for the IIT JAM exam 2025, they must check in detail the eligibility criteria for the exam. The eligibility criteria states the minimum qualification to appear for the exam, the age limit, passing marks to apply and more. - In order to fulfil the IIT JAM 2025 eligibility criteria, candidates should hold a bachelor's degree. Earlier, there was a CGPA cutoff, but this year onwards, candidates need to just pass the qualifying degree.
- Candidates who have appeared or will appear for their graduation exams in 2025 are also eligible to apply, provided they submit the proof by September 2025.
- For the admission process, candidates who pass the IIT JAM 2025 exam will be eligible to apply for the admission process.

- Enter the details as requested - Name, Email ID, Phone Number, and Create a Password

Step 2: Filling out the IIT JAM Application Form
Once the registration process is completed, the next step is to complete the IIT JAM application. Follow the below instructions to complete the application form.

- Enter the login credentials shared on the registered email after the registration process was completed
- Fill in the remaining details like personal, contact, educational details, and any other details as asked in the form
- Upload all the necessary documents like education documents, and a scanned passport-sized photograph and signature

IIT JAM Previous Year Question Paper
The exam authorities released the IIT JAM 2024 question papers a few days after the exam, along with the provisional answer keys. The IIT JAM question papers are released for each paper/subject in PDF format. Candidates can download the question paper of IIT JAM as per their preferred subject from the official website. Aspirants planning to take the test next year must solve the IIT JAM question papers of previous years to strengthen their IIT JAM Preparation.
IIT JAM 2025 Answer Key
IIT Delhi will likely be releasing the IIT JAM 2025 answer key in the second week of February 2025. Candidates can download the IIT JAM 2025 answer key by using their login credentials, and in case of any discrepancy, candidates will be able to submit challenges within the time issued by the authority by logging into the IIT JAM 2025 candidate portal.
Candidates will also be given the option to file objections against the provisional IIT JAM 2025 answer keys by paying a fee of INR 500 per question. Candidates' OMR sheets will be released along with the answer keys. With the help of the answer keys of IIT JAM 2025, candidates can calculate their estimated scores in the exam and assume which college and branch they are likely to get admission to. The final answer keys will be released along with the result.
IIT JAM Result
The IIT JAM Result is expected to be released online on March 19, 2025 on the official website of the IIT JAM Exam/JOAPS portal. Candidates will be able to download their IIT JAM Scorecards using their registered email ID or Registration Number and password. The scorecard declares the candidate's All India Rank (AIR) and only the qualified candidates will be eligible to participate in the counselling rounds and the further admission process.

IIT JAM 2025 online application process for counselling will start on April 2, 2025, onwards. Test takers who have qualified for the JAM 2025 examination will be eligible to sit in the JAM 2025 admission counselling process. Selection of the candidates is done as per the merit secured in IIT JAM 2025.
