The Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) will soon announce the ICAR exam date 2025 for both the UG and PG courses and the exam will be conducted through CUET UG and PG. The conducting authority will release the ICAR AIEEA 2025 Application Form, and the registration process for UG candidates is expected to begin on 27th February 2025, while for ICAR PG Candidates, the registration may begin on 11th April 2025.
Candidates must provide personal and academic details during the application process to apply for ICAR AIEEA 2025. NTA has been assigned the responsibility of conducting the AIEEA entrance exam. ICAR (Indian Council of Agricultural Research) is an organization that guides, coordinates and manages different types of research and education in the entire country for the agricultural sector.
All Undergraduate and Postgraduate applicants are eligible to take the All India Entrance Examination for Admission (ICAR) AIEAA. The exam will be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). There are a total of 74 agricultural universities, including 63 State Agricultural, Horticultural, Veterinary, and Fisheries Universities, 4 ICAR-DUs, 3 Central Agricultural Universities, and 4 Central Universities with a Faculty of agriculture (AMU, BHU, Viswa Bharati, and Nagaland University).

How to fill out ICAR Application Form 2025?
The ICAR 2025 Application form is expected to be released on 27th February 2025 and the last date to fill the form and make payment is expected on 26th March 2025. Candidates must note that if the payment is not made, the application form shall be considered incomplete. Please find below the detailed step-by-step process to fill out the ICAR Form 2025:
Step 1: Registration
The first step in the process is to register for the ICAR exam. To register for the exam, the candidates must visit the official website of the exam and follow the below steps:
- Fill in the registration form with your personal and contact details, and address
- Choose a security question and security PIN
- Upon entering the PIN the registration process will be complete, and the details regarding the User name and password will be shared to the candidates’ registered email ID and phone number via SMS
- Verify the submitted details
- Enter OTP sent on Mobile Number

Step 2: Filling Out the Application Form
Once the candidates have registered for the exam, the second step will be to fill out the ICAR Application Form. To fill in the application form, follow the below process.
- Login to thee website using the credentials received on the registered email ID

Step 3:Examination Centre Selection
Candidates will have to choosetwoexaminationstate andcity choices in the preferential order in which they wish to appear for the exam.
Step 4: University/Programme Selection
Candidates will have to apply for one or more universities and programmes from the dropdown menu and click on the Add button. Candidates may change the selected universities/programmes by clicking on the ‘Update’ tab.
Step 5: Test Paper/Subject Selection
Candidates will have to select a minimum of three and a maximum of 10 subjects or papers. Along with the subject selection, candidates will also have to select the medium or language of the question paper they wish to opt for. In case of selecting less than 10 subjects, candidates will have to select the NA: Not Applicable option for the rest of the subject fields.
Step 6: Upload scanned copies of your photograph and signature
In this step, the candidates need to upload their documents as per the specifications. In case the uploaded document is not as per the specifications it may lead to rejection of application. Check these specifications below.

After this step, candidates will have to verify every detail entered and also verify their email ID. They will receive an OTP in the email ID and upon entering that, they will be redirected to the CUET 2023 application fee payment section.
Step 7: Payment of ICAR Application Fees
Pay the application fee through an online mode, such as credit card, debit card, net banking, or UPI. Ensure that you keep the proof of payment, and in case of a failed transaction, the amount will be refunded immediately to your account. If the confirmation page is not generated, candidates must make the payment again.

ICAR Fee Payment Acceptable Modes & Instructions
To pay the ICAR application fees candidates must know that it can only be paid online. Candidates can use any of the following cards and methods given below.

After that, candidates will have to select the payment mode among Net Banking, Cards, and UPI and complete the payment process.
Upon successful payment, an application confirmation message will be displayed on the screen and the confirmation message and PDF will be sent to the candidates’ registered email ID as well.
Step 8: Download the application form
The last step is to review the application form properly and download as well as take at least 2 printouts for future reference. The candidates here must know that in case there are any errors in the ICAR application form the candidates can edit during the correction window, however, the application correction window only allows a few edits and not the entire form is editable.

The NTA has announced that the ICAR AIEEA application correction window will be available a few days after the registration window closes. Candidates will likely be able to access this window on the 28th and 29th of March to modify or rectify their ICAR AIEEA application form until the submission deadline but only a few details can be changed.

The National Testing Agency can reject application forms for certain reasons. Hence, students are suggested to avoid the following errors:

- While scanning the images use plain white paper as the background.
