IBSAT Result
The IBSAT 2024 result is expected to release in the first week of January 2025 on the official website of the exam. The result is declared by the ICFAI Foundation of Higher Education (IFHE), and the result cum scorecard can be downloaded by using the hall ticket number, registration number, and the Date of Birth. Based on this result, the candidates will be called for the further rounds of selection depending on the IBSAT Cutoff.
Based on the performance in the exam, the shortlisted candidates will appear for the Micro presentation and the Personal Interview Rounds conducted by IBS for its eight campuses.

IBSAT Selection Process
The IBSAT Selection Process for the IBS MBA/PGPM program includes a Micro-Presentation and Personal Interview
A Micro-Presentation in Selection process is a brief talk or presentation where candidates demonstrate their communication, presentation skills, and ability to think quickly on their feet. Candidates have the opportunity to select one topic out of three. The format allows for 4 minutes in total: 1 minute for preparation and 3 minutes for delivering the presentation.
The Personal Interview is an important part of the Selection Process. Each candidate will be interviewed for 5-7 minutes. The interview panel will focus on assessing the attitude and aspirations of the candidates besides evaluating their General Knowledge, communication skills, clarity of thought and expression, as well as aptitude for a career in management.

IBSAT Eligibility
Details of IBSAT Eligibility Criteria 2023:
- The Candidate must possess a bachelor's degree in any discipline with minimum 50% marks from a recognized College or University.
- A minimum of 15 years of regular education (10+2+3 or 10+2+4 basis) is mandatory for all the applicants. The students who have completed their graduation on part time, online mode or distance mode are not eligible to sit in the exam.
- Candidates that do not meet the eligibility criteria of English medium in graduation have to appear in TOEFL/ NELT/ IELTS exam and must submit the score by May 31, 2023.
- Scores of GMAT/CAT/NMAT are acceptable in place of IBSAT 2023.
- Ph.D.: IBS Alumni, M.Phil Degree holders, and UGC NET candidates stand exempted from IBSAT 2023.
Eligibility for 2 years Management Programme
- Graduate with 50% and above with English medium
- Should have completed a minimum of 15 years of education (10+2+3 10+2+4)
- Candidates who have not met eligibility criteria in English medium should submit TOEFL/NELT/IELTS score by 31 May 2023.
- Applicants in their final year of Bachelor degree are eligible to apply if they complete their graduation requirements by 31 May 2023.
PhD Programme in Management
- Graduation (any discipline) with 50% marks and above with English medium and;
- PG in Management (Full time specializing in Marketing/Finance/Human Resource Management and Operations from UGC Approved University with 55% and above)

A professional qualification like CA/CFA/CWA/CS with 55% and above marks.
Ph.D. Programme in Economics
- Graduation with 50% and above marks and post-graduation in economics or allied discipline with 55% and above marks
- All the applicants should have completed a minimum of 17 years of education. (10+2+3+2 or 10+2+4+2)
- Candidates who do not meet the eligibility criteria of English medium in Graduation/Post graduation on part-time, distance or online are not eligible for a Ph.D. program of IBS Hyderabad.
Candidates who qualify on the basis of IBSAT/GMAT/CAT/NMAT by GMAC would be called for a selection procedure at IBS Hyderabad in February. The final selection would be based on the Group Discussion, Personal Interview, and Past academic records.
IBSAT Exam Pattern
IBSAT Exam Pattern 2023:
- IBSAT is a Computer Based Test (CBT) and comprising of multiple choice questions. The total time duration of the test is 2 hours. There are four sections in the test namely the Quantitative Techniques, Data Interpretation and Data Adequacy, Reading Comprehension and Verbal Ability.
- There are a total number of 140 questions that are distributed across 4 sections. The four sections are Verbal Ability, Reading Comprehension, Quantitative Aptitude and Data Adequacy & Interpretation.
- IBSAT is highly balanced in terms of its difficulty level. About 50% is assigned for difficulty, while the rest is divided among difficult and moderately difficult.
- There are 5 choices for every question with 1 mark is awarded for a right answer and nil negative marking. There is no sectional cutoff and no sectional time limits.

- ICFAI Business School usually uploads IBSAT admit card on its official website.
- ICFAI Business School does not send admit cards by post or courier.
- IBS releases the IBSAT Admit Card 2023 well in advance from the date of exam.
- The IBSAT Admit Card contains the personal details as well as the date, venue and time of the IBSAT exam.
- It is mandatory to bring the IBSAT Admit Card at the center of the exam on the exam date along with a valid ID proof.
