To appear for the GUJCET exam the candidates must satisfy the GUJCET eligibility criteria, as stated by the GSEB. The standard eligibility criteria includes details like the age limit, nationality, and other domicile requirements. If any candidate defaults in fulfilling the eligibility criteria they will not be qualified to go through the GUJCET admission process. The most basic criteria states that the applicant must have passed their 10+2 standard from Gujarat Board.

If a candidate has completed their schooling from CBSE board they are still eligible to apply provided that they passed from a school situated in the state of Gujarat. Besides this, the NIOS class 10th and 12th students are also eligible to apply if they have secured 45% marks. Except for this, the applicants falling in the reserved and PH classification category get a 5% relaxation in marks.

Basic Eligibility Criteria for GUJCET

As per the basic criteria the candidates must be an Indian citizen and must have studied from a school in Gujarat. For further details, check the criteria tabulated below.

GUJCET Domicile Rules

Fundamentally, the applicants need to fulfill the Domicile rules given underneath.

  • Domicile Rule 1:The applicant must be the perpetual inhabitant of the Gujarat state.
  • Domicile Rule 2:The competitor must have finished his/her Class tenth and twelfth from Gujarat Board. Students who have passed Class tenth and twelfth from CBSE board are likewise qualified for the exam. Nonetheless, he/she must be from a school situated in Gujarat state.

GUJCET 2025Reservation Policy

Candidates having a place with the reserved categories can apply for GUJCET 2025 under the GUJCET 2025 reservation policy. During the counselling process, all the applicants who have been assigned seats through reservation must possess their classification certificates.
