The NTA will release the CUET Syllabus 2025 on the official website i.e. exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG. The syllabus will be released through online mode only in PDF format. The CUET UG syllabus will help candidates plan their strategy for CUET UG 2025 exam and secure good marks.

Once released, the candidates willing to take the Common University Entrance Test can download the subject wise CUET syllabus. It will be released for subjects such as Commerce, Science, Arts, and Arts/Humanities. Along with the syllabus of CUET UG exam, the candidates must also be aware of the CUET exam pattern. Based on the exam pattern, the syllabus is divided into 37 subjects.

CUET UG 2025 is expected to be conducted from May 15, 2025. The exact dates have not been announced yet.

CUET UG Syllabus 2025

NTA releases the CUET Syllabus on the official website. The syllabus for all the subjects in CUET will be released online in a PDF format only. There are several courses and subjects for which the syllabus is released online.

The CUET UG 2025 exam syllabus is divided into three sections namely - Section I, Section II, and Section III. Section 1 of the syllabus includes topics from Languages, Section II of the CUET Syllabus 2025 has topics from Domain Subjects and Section III will consist of topics from General Test. Please refer to the table below to check the division of CUET entrance exam 2025 syllabus.

CUET Syllabus 2025 - Section-wise

While preparing for the CUET Exam, the candidates must be thoroughly aware of the subject wise CUET syllabus 2025. CUET exam 2025 evaluates candidates across several key areas such as Reading Comprehension, Verbal Ability, Grammar and Usage, and Vocabulary. The exam is conducted in several languages namely Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Gujarati, Odia, Bengali, Assamese, Punjabi, English, Hindi and Urdu.

CUET 2025 Syllabus of Language Test (Section 1A & 1B)

  • Language Test is the first section of the CUET Exam 2025. The questions in this section will assess students' language skills using comprehension passages, grammar, and vocabulary.
  • Candidates will be assessed on their understanding of a passage and its main theme, as well as the definitions of terms used in the passage.
  • Grammar includes correcting grammatically incorrect statements, filling in holes in phrases with appropriate terminology, and so forth.
  • Questions regarding synonyms and antonyms will put one's command of the English language to the test.
  • Preparation for Verbal Ability, Part Rearrangement, Correct Word Selection, Synonyms and Antonyms, and Vocabulary is required.
