The National Testing Agency has released the CUET PG Exam Pattern 2025 in the official information brochure. It was released along with the CUET PG application form on January 2, 2025 on the CUET PG website - cuet.nta.nic.in. The exam pattern of CUET PG 2025 has been revised. The total duration of the CUET PG exam used to be 105 minutes which is now reduced to 90 minutes. As per the revised CUET PG exam pattern 2025, the question paper will consist of 75 questions in total and each question carries 4 marks. In case of every incorrect answer, the candidates will be charged with a penalty of 1 mark. There are five streams in which the exam is conducted. These are Science, Humanities, Acharya, Language, M. Tech, and Common subjects.

Changes in CUET PG 2025 Exam Pattern
The National Testing Agency has introduced a few changes in the CUET PG exam pattern 2025. The candidates appearing in the exam must be aware of these changes. Those filling the CUET PG application form 2025, must know that the CUET PG registration fees has now been increased to INR 1400 from INR 1200.

Medium of Language Papers
- Language papers will be in the respective language of the subject, except for Linguistics, which will be in English.
- Papers for M.Tech/Higher Sciences will only be in English.
- Acharya Papers will be in Sanskrit, except for the subjects Hindu Studies, Indian Knowledge System, and Baudha Darshan, which will be in English.
- Papers for Humanities, Sciences, and Common Subjects will be bilingual (English and Hindi)
CUET PG 2025 Exam Marking Scheme
As per the CUET PG exam pattern, there will be 75 questions in total in the CUET PG question paper. The total marks of the paper will be 300 marks implying, each question carries 4 marks. For every correct answer, candidates will be awarded with +4 marks. As per the CUET PG negative marking, 1 mark will be deducted as penalty for every incorrect answer.

- Choice of Question Paper Codes: Candidates may select up to four question paper codes from the list provided below.
- Medium of Comprehension in General Paper: The comprehension section in the General Paper will be available in either English or Hindi, based on the candidate's preference indicated during registration.
- Examination Duration: The duration of the examination will be 90 minutes.
- Number of Questions: Each question paper will comprise 75 questions.

- Each question carries 04 (four) marks.
- For each correct response, the candidate will get 04 (four) marks.
- For each incorrect response, 01 (one) mark will be deducted from the total score.
- Unanswered/unattempted responses will be given no marks.
- To answer a question, the candidate needs to choose one option as the most appropriate option.
- However, after the process of Challenges of the Answer Key, in case there are multiple correct options or changes in the key, only those candidates who have attempted it correctly as per the Final Answer Key will be awarded marks.
- In case a Question is dropped due to some technical error, full marks shall be given to all the candidates irrespective of whether they have attempted it or not.
- Shifts: The examination will be conducted in 2-3 shifts.
- Final Reference for Questions: For question papers, except those related to language subjects and Acharya papers, the English version will be considered final in case of any discrepancies.
- Syllabus Availability: The syllabus for all question paper codes is available on the official website. All candidates are advised to go through the syllabus and prepare accordingly.
