CG PET 2023: Application Form, Exam Dates, Eligibility, Exam Pattern

Chhattisgarh Pre Engineering Test (CG PET) is the exam conducted by Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board (Chhattisgarh Vyavsayik Pariksha Mandal) every year for admission to first year of undergraduate programmes leading Bachelor's degree in defferent disciplines of Engineering (B.Tech./ B.E.) in various Govt. aided and private unaided technical institutions of Chhattisgarh.

CG PET 2023 Eligibility Criteria:
To appear for CG PET 2022, candidates have to meet the eligibility criteria prescribed by the authorities. Mentioned below is the CG PET 2022 eligibility criteria for candidate's reference:
Qualifying examination : Must pass class 12 or equivalent exam from a recognized board with physics and mathematics as the compulsory subjects. Candidates can have chemistry, biotechnology, biology, technical vocational courses as their optional subjects in class 12 or equivalent exam.
Qualifying Marks : General category candidates must have a minimum aggregate of 45% marks in the qualifying exam. While the reserved category (SC/ST/OBC/female and PWD) should have a minimum aggregate of 40% marks in the qualifying exam.
Age Criteria : Applicant should not be less than 17 years as on December 31, 2022. While the upper age limit is 30 years. That is, candidates should not be more than 30 years old as on July 1 of the exam year. For reserved category, there is 3 years relaxation in the upper age limit.
According to the rules established by the government, a domicile certificate is a requirement.
