KCET Application Form 2024 – Eligibility Criteria
The Karnataka Examinations Authority mentions the KCET eligibility criteria 2024 in its official notification. How to Fill KCET Registration Form?
The registration process of the exam consists of a few steps that interested candidates must follow in order to register themselves for the exam successfully. Candidates will have to complete the registration of KCET 2024 in two stages. During the first stage, candidates are required to fill and edit the application for while during the second stage, they must confirm and submit the duly filled application form. The application form of KCET is available in online mode only.
Step 1 - KCET 2024 Registration
In order to register for the exam, candidates must visit the official website kea.kar.nic.in 2024 and click on the KCET Application Form. Follow the steps mentioned below to complete the process successfully.
- Navigate to and click on the “New User”.
- Read the instructions displayed on the screen and click on ‘Proceed to Apply Online'.
- Select ‘Nationality'.
- A 13 digit students number is issues to students from PUE department. Candidates who appeared for the 12th PUC exam must enter that number.
- Once all the details are filled correctly, click on ‘Submit'.
- This completes KCET Exam Registration. Candidates can now proceed to fill the application form.

Step 4 – Uploading of Scanned Images
Candidates filling the application form must upload their scanned images of their passport sized photograph, signature, and left thumb impression. They must also upload one of their parent's signature or left thumb impression as per the specifications mentioned.

Step 5 – Submission of Duly Filled Form
As the last step, candidates are advised to review all the details filled by them. They can even do corrections by clicking on the ‘Edit Application Form' button. They must also accept the declaration and submit the KCET Application Form.
Do not forget to take a printout of the application form of KCET 2024 and get it attested by the School Principal or PU of the institute/school. Candidates will be required to produce this attested printout at the time of KCET Counselling.
How to Retrieve the KCET 2024 Application Number?
In case candidates don't seem to remember their application number, they can for the same on their registered email id. If you are still not able to find the application number, you can reach out to KCET authorities at keauthority-ka@nic.in. The helpline number is 080 – 23 460 460 where students can call and get in touch with the authorities.
How to Retrieve the KCET 2024 Password?
If forgotten, candidates can recover their KCET Password by following the steps mentioned below:
- Visit candidate's portal of KCET 2024.
- Click on ‘Forgot Password'
- Click on ‘Create New Password'
- Enter details such as KCET 2024 User ID, application number, security question, its answer, and security code.
- Click on ‘Submit'
- You can now create a new password of your choice and confirm it.
Candidates can also check their newly generated password through their registered email id or the mobile number that they entered at the time of registration.
KCET Application Form Correction
KEA will make Karnataka CET Application Form 2024 Correction link available on the official website. Using this link, candidates who registered themselves for the exam will be able to edit/correct the details submitted by them in the KCET Application Form 2024. However, candidates must note that they will not be able to correct all the details mentioned on their application form.
Below mentioned are the steps following which candidates can make corrections in their application form:
- Visit the official website – kea.kar.nic.in and click on KCET Application Form 2024.
- Click on ‘Edit Karnataka CET Application'.
- Enter you application number.
- An OTP will be generated and sent to your registered mobile number.
- Enter the OTP.
- Edit the details that can be edited and submit the changes.
- Download the form and save it for future reference.
KCET Admit Card 2024
The Karnataka Examination Authority will make the KCET 2024 admit card available online at its official website. Applicants can access their KCET admit card at kea.kar.nic.in. The login credentials needed to download the KCET admit card 2024 are the application number and the first four characters of the name in the required fields. Only candidates who have successfully registered will be able to download their KCET hall ticket 2024. Candidates who appear in the exam must bring their KCET admit card and one valid photo ID to the exam center. It is important to note that the KCET 2024 admit card will only be available online. The KEA will not send the KCET admit card to any candidate via post or email.
