TANCET 2025 - Anna University will release the TANCET 2025 notification on January 19, 2025. It will be released on the official website. TANCET Exam 2025 is expected to be conducted on March 9, 2025.

The TANCET full form is Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test. TANCET Exam is an entrance examination conducted at the state level. The exam is conducted for admission to MCA, MBA, M. Tech, M. E., M. Arch, and M. Plan postgraduate programs offered by almost more than 200 colleges in Tamil Nadu. Every year more than 40,000 students compete for 16000 seats offered by these college for admission to various PG courses. DTE Chennai is the conducting body of TANCET Counselling and the counselling process is conducted through online mode only.

From now onwards, the ME/ M.Tech/ M. Arch/ M. Plan courses will be known by a new name - CEETA PG

The exam will be conducted across 14 cities of Tamil Nadu referred to as TANCET Exam Centres. TANCET Cutoff for the year 2025 is expected to go higher for admission to MBA programs offered by TANCET Accepting Colleges. Candidates who qualify the exam can appear for TANCET Counselling Process.

TANCET 2025 Registration

Anna University Conducts TANCET Exam every year for admission to postgraduate programs namely MBA, MCA, M. E., M. Tech, M. Arch, and M. Plan. TANCET 2025 Application Forms will be available on the official website of TANCET, i.e. tancet.annauniv.edu, and the last date to apply is expected to be February 20, 2025. Candidates must process the payment of INR 1000 (which is INR 500 for reserved categories) as application fee while filling the application form. Candidates seeking admission via TANCET Exam must ensure that they stand eligible as per the eligibility criteria defined by colleges for admission. The minimum eligibility for admission is to possess a bachelor's degree in the relevant field from a recognized university. Interested candidates must secure at least 50% marks in aggregate. Candidates with a degree from a distance/ weekend programs will not be considered eligible for TANCET 2025.

  • To be eligible to apply for engineering master's programs such as M. Tech or M. E. offered through TANCET Score, candidates must possess a B. E. or B. Tech degree in the relevant field from a recognized university.
  • For admission to M. Arch, the eligibility criterion is to possess a B. Arch degree or qualification of Associateship Examination of the Indian Institute of Architects with a valid registration with the CoA (Council of Architecture).

TANCET Counselling 2025

TANCET Counselling process takes place as soon as TANCET Result is declared by Anna University. There are four stages of the counseling procedure. Below mentioned are the steps to counseling of TANCET:
