CBSE Class 12th Board Overview

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducts CBSE Class 12 exams every year in pen and paper mode for students studying in Class 12. Those who clear their Class 11 exams from any recognized board of education and have studied for a year in Class 12 are eligible to sit for CBSE 12th board examinations.

CBSE has issued the CBSE Class 12 Date Sheet during on 20th November 2024. The CBSE 12th Exams 2025 are to be conducted from 15th February to 4th April 2025 in offline mode via pen and paper. The CBSE 12th date sheet includes subject-wise exam dates, days, timings, duration etc and exam related instructions which students must follow. The CBSE Class 12 Date Sheet PDF 2025 is available online on the official website. For CBSE 12th Board Exams 2024 the CBSE 12th date sheet was released on 12th December 2023 and the exams were held from 15th February to 2nd April 2024. The CBSE 12th practical exams were conducted from 14th November to 14th December 2023 for winter-bound schools. In other schools the practical exams were held from 1st January to 14th February 2024. The CBSE Class 12 supplementary exams 2024 did begin on 15th July 2024.

The CBSE 12th Admit Card 2025 is expected to be released by the board in February 2025. Schools are required to download the admit card for every student and the school principal must sign it. Students must get their admit card from their respective schools as they are required to carry it on every examination day. If students don't possess the admit they will not be allowed to take the exam. CBSE releases the Admit Cards for each individual student appearing for the CBSE class 12th board exams approximately one month before the commencement of the exams. CBSE Class 12th Board Result 2025

The CBSE 12th result 2025 is expected to be released on the board's official website (cbse.gov.in) in May 2025. Students will be able to view the CBSE 12th Result 2025 by using their roll number, school code, and other details asked. They can also get their CBSE Class 12th result 2025 through digilocker and SMS. For the academic session 2023-24 the CBSE 12th result 2024 was declared on 13th May 2024.

A few weeks after the conclusion of the CBSE class 12 board exams, CBSE releases the official results in the month of May/June. It may be published later depending on the length of the overall exam & other factors.
