The VITEEE 2024 exam is a computer based test. The test questions will be based on the specified syllabus with options to attempt papers in either Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English (PCM) or Physics, Chemistry,Biology and English(PCB).

VITEEE Marking Scheme
The test will consist of 5 sections. Candidates who attempt Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics are eligible for all the B.Tech Programmes at the university. Candidates who attempt Biology instead of Matahematics will be eligible for B.Tech. Bioinformatics, Bio-Medical Engineering and Biotechnology programmes only.

Each question carries 1 mark and there is no negative marking for incorrect answer. Also, no mark is awarded or deducted for unattempted questions. The total time duration of the test is 2 hours and 30 minutes.

Below are the key facts about the VIT Exam Pattern 2024:
- The test will be given in an online format (Computer-Based Test).
- The language of the exam will be English.
- There will be multiple-choice questions for every question (MCQs).
- A total of 125 questions will be asked during the test.
- Questions will be asked in the fields of English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
- The exam will last 2 hours and 30 minutes.
- There will be three exam sessions each day.
Session I–9:00 AM to 11:30 AM
Session II–12:30 PM to 3:00 PM
Session III–4:00 PM to 6:30
- You will receive one mark for each accurate response.
