The exam pattern of UPSEE Exam 2021 would help students understand how the question paper is designed and what type of questions are asked in the examination. The exam pattern provides applicants with the details of paper pattern and it is released by Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) on the online portal of its official website. UPSEE Exam 2021 is scheduled to be conducted in the month of April 2021. As per the recent notification released by AKTU, the application procedure of UPSEE is likely to begin in the month of January 2021.
The exam conducted by the university consists of a number of papers designed for various courses offered by the institutes affiliated to AKTU. There are total 11 papers conducted by the university for admission to various undergraduate engineering programs. Qualifying the exam also gets you admission to some postgraduate programs offered by the university.
There should be no changes introduced in the exam pattern of UPSEE 2021 and it is expected to be as same as that of conducted in the academic year 2020.

Detailed Description of UPSEE 2021 Exam Pattern
The examination is conducted for 3 days where in all the 11 papers are scheduled and candidates are allowed to choose the technical subjects based on which the subjects are tested in the examination. The total time given to complete the test in 3 hours i.e. 180 minutes and the questions would be of objective type.

Paper 1 and Paper 2 comprise of 3 sections each. Paper 1 comprises of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and Paper 2 comprises of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. It must be noted that there is no negative marking in the exam and student is rewarded with +4 marks with each correct answer.

Important Instructions for UPSEE 2021
Candidates appearing in the exam must ensure that they follow and abide by some rules and guidelines defined by the university. These have been designed to maintain the decorum of the examination hall. Following are the instructions that ensure proper proceeding of the exam:
- Questions attempted by candidates with incorrect answers will be secured in a record that would be maintained by the university. This is later used as tie breaking criteria.
- The question papers come in both Hindi and English language.
- Candidates are advised to mark their answers using Black or Blue Ballpoint pen only.
