The NIMCET 2025 Registration will begin online at nimcet.admissions.nic.in. Interested candidates can fill the NIMCET 2025 Application Form once the registration window is made live online. Before the registration begins, the candidates are advised to check if they stand eligible as per the NIMCET 2025 Eligibility Criteria. The National Institute of Technology Master of Computer Applications Common Entrance Test also known as NIMCET Exam is an online i.e. a computer based test.
After successful registration, candidates will be able to download their NIMCET 2025 Admit Card once it is released on the website. They will have to enter their login credentials to download the admit card.

What is the NIMCET Exam?
The full form of NIMCET is National Institute of Technology Master of Computer Applications Common Entrance Test. The exam is conducted by one of the NITs, on a rotational basis, for admission to MCA offered by NIMCET Participating Colleges. Candidates appearing in the exam must secure good marks to gain admission in their desired NITs. They will be allotted seats based on their ranks obtained in the NIMCET MCA Exam. Around 25,000 students register for the NIMCET Exam every year and 805 seats are offered in 9 NITs across the country. There are other universities and colleges as well apart from NITs that consider NIMCET scores for admission to the MCA programs offered by them.

NIMCET Registration 2025
The NIMCET 2025 Application Form will be released in an online mode on the official website. The NIMCET 2025 Registration process is expected to begin from March 6, 2025. The last date to fill the NIMCET Application form is April 24, 2025 (Tentative). Candidates who wish to appear in the exam will have to fill out the NICMET 2025 Application Form with all the correct details. They must fill the form before the last date of registration arrives. The exam dates for the NIMCET 2025 will soon be announced on the official website.
While filling the application form, the candidates will have to enter their personal, educational and contact details. The details provided in the application form must be valid. The application form must be submitted along with the required and essential documents. The NIMCET 2025 Application Fee should also be paid at the time of registration. Candidates can make the payment of NIMCET fees via net banking/credit card/debit card.
How to Fill NIMCET 2025 Application Form?
Below are the steps to fill the NIMCET Application Form 2025:
- Visit the official website of NIMCET 2025 - nimcet.admissions.nic.in.
- Navigate to and click on the ‘NIMCET 2025 Registration’ link.
- Enter your details to register for the exam.
- Once registered, candidates can proceed to fill the NIMCET application form.

- Upload scanned copy of passport sized photograph and signature.
- Process the payment of NIMCET Application Fee.

The application fee of NIMCET 2025 exam is INR 2500 for General/OBC/EWS candidates and INR 1250 for SC/ST category candidates.

NIMCET 2025 Application Correction Window
The application correction window to make corrections and changes in the NIMCET Application Form will open after the successful conclusion of NIMCET Registration. Candidates are advised to fill the form carefully and review the form before submitting it. In case of any mistakes, candidates will get 3-4 days to edit some specific details only.
The application correction window will be made available to candidates during the 4th week of April 2025. Candidates are required to log in to the official website using their login credentials to make edits in the application form.
NIMCET Eligibility Criteria 2025
Before applying for the NIMCET Exam, candidates must check if they stand eligible as per the NIMCET 2025 Eligibility Criteria. Please check below the eligibility criteria of NIMCET Exam:
- Candidates should be of Indian nationality.
- Candidates must possess a B.S /B.Sc (Hons.)/BCA/BIT degree with Mathematics/Statistics/Equivalent subject as one of the subjects from a recognized university.
- The minimum duration of the degree should be 3 years.
- Candidates belonging to the General category must have secured at least 60% marks in aggregate or 6.5 CGPA on a 10 point scale in the qualifying degree.
- Candidates belonging to SC/ST category must secure at least 55% marks or 6.0 CGPA on a 20-point scale in aggregate from a recognized university.
- Students in their final year of graduation are also eligible to apply.
- Candidates with B.E./B. Tech degrees are also eligible to apply.
NIMCET 2025 Exam Pattern
NIMCET Exam Pattern 2025 will soon be released by the examination conducting body on the official website. Candidates appearing in the exam must go through the exam pattern of NIMCET Exam before appearing in the exam. They will get to know the structure of the exam, total sections in the paper, total number of question papers, duration of the exam, etc.
The NIMCET Exam will be conducted online, meaning it is a computer based test. The total duration of the exam is 2 hours. There will be a total of 120 questions divided across four sections. As per the NICMET Marking Scheme, each question carries 4 marks and there is a negative marking of 25% of the total mark allotted to the question attempted. NIMCET 2025 Syllabus
The official NIMCET 2025 Syllabus will be released by the examination conducting authorities on the official website. In NIMCET Syllabus, there will be a list of Subjects, Units, and Topics that candidates will have to prepare for the examination. The syllabus of NIMCET will be released for all the sections namely Mathematics, Computer Awareness, Logical Reasoning, and General English.
Candidates appearing in the exam will have to check and prepare according to the NIMCET Syllabus. A thorough inspection of the syllabus will help candidates prepare efficiently and effectively. The NIMCET 2025 Question Paper will be made based on the official NIMCET Syllabus.

NIMCET Admit Card 2025
NIMCET 2025 Admit Card will be released after the successful completion of NIMCET Registration. Only candidates with successful registration will be able to download their NIMCET Admit Card. Registered candidates will be able to download their NIMCET 2025 Hall Ticket by logging into their account on the online portal of NIMCET. Candidates can download their hall tickets through online mode and there is no offline mode to download the same.
The admit cards are expected to be out in the first week of June 2025. The NIMCET 2025 Admit Card will consist of details such as candidate’s name, dob, gender, exam centre, exam time, exam date, exam guidelines, etc. The candidates must check that the details mentioned on their admit card are correct as any incorrect detail will lead to cancelation of their candidature. They must also bring along a valid identity proof at the examination centre.
