MET also known as MU OET conducted by Manipal University is an online entrance examination. The entire question paper consists of a total of 200 questions from the topics of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English and General Aptitude. Total time allotted to candidates for solving the entire question paper is two hours and 30 minutes.
Key Highlight of MET Exam Pattern:
- All the examination of MET (earlier MU OET) is conducted in the English language.
- The nature of the question asked in the examination is of objective type, where the candidate will be given a total of four options for each question and candidate needs to select the correct one as per there understanding.
- Unlike other entrance examination, there is no negative marking in MET.
- For MET of all other courses (except M Tech and ME) each carries 1 marks and candidate will be allotted complete 1 mark on the correct answer.
- As mentioned, for M Tech and ME candidates will be allotted 4 marks for each correct answer, every question carries 4 marks.
Things to Remember:
- Candidates will be provided with a rough sheet at the allotted examination center, which needs to be returned after completion of the exam.
- Once the given time is over and the exam is completed the total scored marks of the candidate will display on the screen immediately.
- Candidates can also verify their test score online within 24 hours of taking the test.
- Candidates taking multiple attempts of the examination, merit list will be prepared on basis of best of the score.
