MICAT Exam 2024: The first and second phases of the MICAT exam will be held on December 2, 2023, and January 27, 2024, respectively, at the Mudra Institute of Communications in Ahmedabad. Candidates can find the details of MICAT test 2024 on the official website, mica.ac.in. MICA has begun MICAT registration 2024 and even released all the details related to MICAT exam. Candidates can now apply for MICAT Exam Phase 1 until November 20, 2023 in order to take the first phase exam. MICAT Phase 2 Registration will begin on November 23. MICAT registration for the second exam phase closes on January 16, 2024.
Candidates may choose to take both exam phases or one of the exam phases. The best of two MICAT scores will be considered for MICA PGDM admissions. Candidates who have passed the CAT/XAT/GMAT as well as a bachelor's level course are eligible for the MICAT exam.

What is MICAT?
The MICA Admissions Test (MICAT) is an online admissions test for MICA's flagship degree, the Post Graduate Diploma in Management - Communications (PGDM-C). MICAT is a one-of-a-kind MBA entrance exam that includes objective and subjective questions. Along with the standard components of MBA entrance exams such as Quantitative Ability, Verbal Ability, and Reasoning, there are also Descriptive Language Test and Psychometric Test. In addition to it, candidates must take the CAT/XAT/GMAT. The selection procedure and timeframes for the academic year 2024-26 will be announced by MICA Ahmedabad. The MICAT exam is divided into two parts: MICAT 1 and MICAT 2. The best scores obtained by candidates are taken into account when preparing the list of shortlisted candidates. The final selection will be based on candidates' performance in the CAT/GMAT/XAT, MICAT, GE, and PI.

MICAT 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Below are the minimum requirement to be able to take the MICAT Exam:
- Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree or an equivalent qualification from an AIU-accredited university.
- To be eligible for MICAT 2024, they must also have valid scores from either of the national level management entrance exams, including CAT 2023, XAT 2024, or GMAT 2023.
- Students in their final year of graduation degree are also considered eligible to take the exam.
- Foreign Nationals/ NRIs must have a valid GMAT score (600+) from after 2012, as well as a passport.
MICAT Application Form 2024
The MICAT application form is now available online at mica.ac.in. Candidates can apply for the MICAT 2024 exam by entering their personal and academic details. Candidates must process the payment of MICAT Application fees before submitting their duly filled application form. Candidates will get the MICA ID and password through email after completing the MICA registration process.
How to Apply for MICAT 2024?
- Visit MICA's official website and navigate to the registration link.
- Click on the 'MICAT 2024 Registration' link.
- Fill in the following information: Applicant name, mobile number, email address, security code, and agreement to the terms and conditions.
- Make a note of your User ID and Password.
- Sign in as an "existing user" and complete the application form.
- Personal information, address, educational qualification, experience details, test city, and uploading a photo in the required format and size are all requested in the form.
- Fill out the MICAT Application Form and pay the MICAT Application Fees.
- Take a printout of the completed form and save it for future reference.

How to Download MICAT Admit Card 2024?
- Visit the official website of MICA.
- Log in with your registered id and password, which were obtained automatically during the MICAT registration procedure.
- Navigate to and click on the Admit Card link.
- MICAT 2024 Admit Card will be shown on the desktop after you enter your application number and date of birth.
- Download the Admit Card and take a print out of it for future use.

Every year, the MICAT exam is held for admission to MICA, Ahmedabad's PGDM programs. MICA does not release a comprehensive MICAT exam pattern. MICAT Marking Scheme
MICA does not provide the overall marks for the MICAT paper. Section 1 and Paper 1 of Section 2 have no negative marking. Papers 2 and 3 feature a negative marking policy of 25% for incorrect answers.
MICAT Syllabus 2023 – 24
The MICAT exam is divided into three sections, each one is further divided in four sub-sections. MICA does not publish a detailed syllabus for the MICAT exam. However, along with the exam details, the sample papers and section titles are communicated. MICAT 2023-24 is divided into three sections:
- Section A: Psychometric Test
- Section B: Descriptive Test
- Section C: with four sub-sections
MICAT 2024 Result
MICAT 2024 results will be announced three times: once after the MICAT written tests and once after the GD and PI rounds.
- The MICAT-I result will be available on December 21, 2023, and the MICAT-II result will be available on February 15, 2024.
- MICAT 2024 results are available online. Candidates will be called for additional admission rounds based on their written results.
How to Check MICAT 2024 Results?
- Navigate to the MICAT official website.
- Enter your MICA ID and Password.
- Select the Result tab.
- Enter your Roll Number, Birth Date, and Application Number.
- The MICAT Score Card will appear on the computer screen.
- Download it for future reference.
MICAT Selection Process 2024
MICA Admission MICAT, or MICA Admissions Test, is held twice a year in Ahmedabad. It is not necessary to take both tests. For candidates who take both MICAT I and MICAT II, the best of the two scores will be considered during admission. Shortlisted candidates will be required to attend the final selection stages, which will include GE and PI.
- Step I: Candidates must take the CAT/XAT/GMAT exam.

Step-II: Those who have passed any of the preceding tests are eligible for the MICAT. All candidates in MICAT are evaluated on the following criteria:
- Section A: Psychometric Examination
- Section B: Verbal abilities, quantitative abilities and data interpretation, general awareness, divergent and convergent thinking
- Section C: Descriptive Examination
- Step-III: GE & PI- Candidates who qualify CAT/XAT/GMAT and MICAT I & II shall appear for both Group Exercise (GE) & Personal Interview (PI).

MICAT Section A, i.e. Psychometric Test, is a qualification.
- Those who pass the Psychometric will be evaluated based on their relative performance on the CAT/XAT/GMAT.
- Those who qualify for Section A based on their CAT/XAT/GMAT performance will be evaluated in Section B of the MICAT.
- Following that, candidates who qualify for Section B will have their performance in Section C evaluated.
- Those who pass parts A, B, and C will be invited to attend GE/PI in Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Delhi, Kolkata, and Mumbai.

MICAT Expected Cutoff 2024
MICA does not have an official PGDM-C threshold. The composite score will be calculated based on 20% of CAT/ XAT/ GMAT marks, 30% MICAT marks, 20% Group exercise marks, and 30% Personal Interview marks. MICAT Cutoff 2023 could be between 45 and 47. The following is the predicted MICAT Cutoff 2023:
