What is MET Exam 2024?
MET Exam 2024 is an annual university-level entrance exam held by the Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) for admission to various UG and PG degree programs at the university.
- About: The Manipal Entrance Test (MET) was previously known as the Manipal University Online Entrance Exam (MU-OET). MBBS, MD, MS, PG Medical Diploma, MSc (in many disciplines), MPhil, DM, Bachelor of Audiology & Speech Pathology (BASLP), Bachelor of Cardiovascular Technology (BSc CVT), BSc (in many disciplines), Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT), BTech (in many disciplines), MTech (in many disciplines), MSc (in many disciplines), BArch, BDes, BA, MA, and other programs are available for admission at Manipal University.

MET Exam 2024 Eligibility Criteria
MET B.Tech Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates applying for MET 2024 must carefully review the admission requirements. The admissions will be based on merit.
- Candidates must meet the eligibility criteria for the Manipal University entrance exam 2024 in order to be admitted.
- Candidates must be Indian citizens, according to the MAHE eligibility guidelines.
- The applicant must have passed the 10+2 or an equivalent examination.
- Math, English, and Physics are required subjects.
- A minimum of 50% in Mathematics, Physics, and any optional subject (Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, or any technical vocational subject) is required.
- There is no minimum age requirement for admission to MET 2024.
- Candidates with Arts group subjects will be prioritized for MET BA Media.
MET Exam 2024 B.A. Media Eligibility Criteria
The exam conducting authority determines the eligibility criteria for the 2024 MET based on the candidates' nationality and educational qualifications.
- Nationality: Students applying for the MET BA Media must be Indian citizens.
- Education: Students applying for the course must have completed 10+2, American 12th grade, or IB with a grade point average of at least 45%.
- The Arts group subjects will be referred to as the MET BA Media preferred qualification.
MET Exam 2024: Application Form
MAHE has posted the MET 2024 application form online. Candidates must register, fill out the required information, upload scanned documents, and pay the application fee during the application process. The application deadline for the MET Exam 2024 first attempt is March 15. There will be no applications accepted after the deadline. All information provided should correspond to the documents held by the candidates. The deadline for submitting the MET 2024 application form for the second attempt has yet to be announced.
To complete MET Registration, three major steps must be taken:
Step 1: Filling in Basic Information
- Candidate registration is required in this step. They have to fill in the following details:
- Information about your parents, your full name, your gender, your email address, etc.
- Course, Category: Course, Program, and Stream for candidates.
- Location: Choose the nation, state, and city, then enter your pin code while choosing your nationality.
Step 2: Uploading of Photo and Signature
- Candidates must provide the following information during this stage:
- Education Qualification: Current Institute information, School Name, Qualifying Exam, Board/University, Passing Year, etc.
- Uploading of the candidate's photo and signature.

Important Photo and Signature Considerations:
- Passport-size photo with a light background (preferably white).
- The test taker must sign on white paper with a black/blue pen.
- Following that, applicants must carefully read the declaration and click the 'I AGREE' button.
Step 3: Programs and Payment
- Candidates must choose a program and enter their address here. Choose your preferred method of payment. The following list contains some of the important points regarding MET Exam Application Fee Payment
- The application fee is INR 600, and the entrance exam fee is INR 1400.
- PayTM, credit card/debit card, or net banking can be used to pay the application fee.
- Payment can also be made by DD made payable to "Manipal Academy of Higher Education" and payable in Manipal or Udupi.
- Candidates who pay the application fee by DD must send a print copy of the completed application form along with the DD to the following address:

MET Exam 2024: Admit Card
The MET 2024 admit card or e-hall ticket can be downloaded only from the official website at manipal.edu. Candidates must complete their MET Exam 2024 Slot Booking in order to obtain their admit card via the Online Test Slot Booking System (OTBS). MAHE makes online slot booking available two weeks before the exam date. After successfully completing MET Slot Booking, candidates can download their MET 2024 Admit Card from the official website.

Step 2: Enter the MET Application Number and Password that were emailed to the registered ID.

MET Exam 2024: Counselling
Mode of Counselling: Online
Candidates who make the MET 2024 merit list will be eligible for MET counseling and the admission process. Following the announcement of the MET 2024 result and merit list, Manipal University will begin the counselling process.
- Candidates must upload their 11th and 12th grade certificates, as well as their JEE Mains 2024 scorecard, SAT score, and any state CET marks, in order to participate in the counselling process. During the MET counselling and seat allotment process, candidates must register and fill out their preferred college choices. Counseling will take place online, and seats will be assigned based on merit. MAHE will also hold an additional spot round counselling session in 2024.
