The MAT Admit Cards are released separately for each session. Candidates can download their admit cards using their log in credentials like application number and password through the official website of the MAT Exam - mat.aima.in. The MAT examination is scheduled from December 7 to December 22, 2024, and the admit card for the second session - PBT is live at the website since 9th Deecmber 2024 

The admit card is a crucial document to be carried to the exam hall along with 1 valid ID proof like Passport, Driver's License, Aadhar Card, etc. The admit card is released for all 3 modes on the official website, and contains crucial details like candidate name, exam time, exam address, venue, and more. Steps to Download the MAT Admit Card

The MAT Admit Card can only be downloaded online and the process to download remains the same for all the three modes. below is the step-by-step procedure on how to download MAT admit card 2024.

  • Visit the AIMA MAT admit card official website - mat.aima.in
  • Click on the 'Login' tab and enter your email ID, Date of Birth (DOB), and Password
  • Hit the Login button
  • Select the Admit Card tab and the MAT 2024 Admit Card will be displayed on the screen
  • Download and take a printout for future use. It is advised to preserve the admit card until the admission process is completed

When the admit card is downloaded, candidates must check that all the details mentioned on the admit card are correct and accurate. The following details should be correctly mentioned on the admit card.

  • Name of the candidate
  • Date of Birth of the candidate
  • Registration number allotted to the candidate

Kind of Discrepancy in the MAT Admit Card

When considering a discrepancy, candidate should know what kind of issue is actually considered as a discrepancy. Candidates need to contact the authorities in the following cases:

  • Name in the admit card is misspelt
  • PwD/DA status is mentioned incorrectly in the MAT Hall Ticket
  • The test city allotted and filled at the time of MAT registration do not match
  • Photograph is not visible
  • Unable to download the admit card despite the successful registration

Issues Faced while Downloading the MAT Hall Ticket

Candidates sometimes can face certain issues while they try to download the MAT Admit Card. We have provided some common problems and their immediate solutions to make the process smoother. Refer to the below table.

Documents to be carried along with the MAT Admit Card

Along with the MAT Admit Card, the candidates need to carry a few other documents. These documents are necessary to be carried and it is advised to keep them ready beforehand. Below is the list of all the documents that need to be carried. It must however be noted that all the documents may not apply to you, and you only need to carry the ones that apply to you.

  • Valid ID proof (photocopy + original)
  • Those who have changed their name must carry a poof for the same
  • Disability proving certificate for PwD candidates
  • Duly filled Self Declaration form

Candidates can carry any one of the below documents as a proof of photo identity.

  • PAN card
  • Driving license
  • Aadhaar card
  • Passport
  • Voter ID card
  • Photo ID issued by an educational institution or any government department

MAT Admit Card Guidelines For Exam Day

MAT CBT and PBT are conducted at the designated test centers. Candidates appearing for the exam should keep in mind the important instructions on MAT admit card that are listed below.

  • Carry 2 printouts of the MAT admit card on an A4 size sheet. The digital copy of the card will not be accepted
  • A photo ID proof approved by the government is necessary to be carried along at the exam center
  • Candidates will be allowed at the test center once the staff has scanned the bar code printed at the MAT admit card
  • No gadgets like phones, calculators, watches, or any metal items are allowed in the exam hall
  • Candidates must not carry any bags or other personal belongings
  • They must reach the center well before the reporting time
  • Candidates are only allowed to use the black/blue ball point pen
