MAH MBA CET Exam: The MAH MBA CET exam is expected to be conducted in March 2025, similar to last year. The Maharashtra State CET cell will announce the exam dates on its official website most likely in December 2024. The exam will be held on three days and in multiple shifts. The shifts are allotted to the candidates will be allotted as per the form submission. The counselling for MAH MBA CET will be held based on the MAH CET MBA merit score.
The CET MBA 2024 exam was conducted from 9th to 11th March 2025, as an online computer-based-test (CBT) in over 48 cities. The MAH CET MBA results were announced on 15th May 2025, and the first CAP cutoff was announced on 14th August 2025 and the CAP cutoff round 2 has been released on 24th August 2025. In Round II, highest CAP cut off is for SIMSREE at 99.98 percentile (All India category), followed by Prin. L. N. Welingkar Institute of Management Development & Research, Mumbai with 99.96 percentile. The seats for JBIMS have been filled in the MBA CAP Round I.

MAH MBA CET - Overview of the Exam
What is MAH MBA CET Exam? The full form of MAH MBA CET is the Maharashtra MBA Common Entrance Test and is also abbreviated as MAH CET. Popularly known as the MAH MBA/MMS CET, the exam is conducted for admission to the MBA/PGDM programs in the top universities of Maharashtra. The exam is conducted by the State Common Entrance Test Cell (State CET Cell), and is valid for:
- All Government of Maharashtra Management Education Institutes
- University Departments of Management Education
- University Managed Management Education Institutes
- All Un-Aided Management Education Institutes covered as per the Act
The MAH CET MBA exam is followed by the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) or the MAH MBA CET Counselling which is conducted to allot the seats to the candidates for MBA programs in the participating colleges based on their score. Step 1: MBA CET Registration
The first step to apply for the exam, and the candidate needs to follow the below steps to register for the exam.

MAH MBA CET Eligibility Criteria 2025
Before filling the MAH CET MBA application form, candidates must check the eligibility criteria for MAH MBA CET exam. Only those who fulfill this eligibility criteria will be able to sit for the MAH MBA CET exam.
- Candidate must have a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised university with a minimum of 50 per cent in aggregate (at least 45 per cent in case of reserved category candidates).
- Final year graduation students or those awaiting their bachelor's degree result are also eligible to apply. However, their average score of 2 years, should meet the minimum score criteria.
- Candidates appearing for CAT/GMAT/CMAT/MAT/XAT/ATMA are considered to be eligible for admission in the All India Seats category. Such candidates need to fill only the online application form for MAH CET Counselling which is conducted one to two months after the entrance exam result declaration.

MAH MBA CET Admit Card
the MAH MBA CET admit card is released a few days before the exam. The admit card is an important document to be carried to the exam hall, as without the CET MBA admit card no candidate will be allowed in the exam hall. The MAH CET MBA admit card includes details the candidates' name, exam date, time, venue, and other important information like the registration number and photograph of the candidate.

MAH MBA CET Counselling
The MAH MBA CET counselling is conducted in online mode and the qualified candidates need to apply for the counselling process in online mode only. To be eligible for admission to MBA programs, candidates must participate in the CAP in online mode. Students from outside Maharashtra are required to have a valid score of CAT/GMAT/CMAT/MAT/XAT/ATMA to be eligible to apply for admissions to Maharashtra management colleges under MAH MBA CET counselling.

MAH MBA CET Counselling Process
The MAH MBA CET counselling process is divided into 3 phases - Registration, Announcement of Provisional List, and then the Final Merit List. Let us understand each of these stages in detail.
Stage 1: Registration & Fee payment

Stage 2: Provisional List Announcement
Under this step, the names of the qualified and shortlisted candidates are published as the provisional list on the official website. Candidates at this stage can submit their grievances regarding the list, if any, at the facilitation centre.
Stage 3: Final merit List
After reviewing the grievances submitted, the authorities will release the final merit list on the official website, and all the shortlisted candidates for the CAP rounds will need to report to the Admission Reporting Centre (ARC) for the document verification process and then finally visit the allotted college to complete the admission process.
