The IPU CET Application Form was released on 1st February 2024 and the last date to apply has been extended to 10th April 2024. Candidates can apply on the official website ipu.edu.in and the IPU CET Exam is set to be conducted offline from 27th April 2024 to 14th May 2024.

Candidates must pay an application fee of INR 1500 to complete the application process. After registering successfully the candidates will receive a unique ID and Password using which the candidates can log in to the portal and fill out the application form. However, candidates applying for B.Tech and BE Examinations, need to appear for the JEE Main exam followed by the counseling process of IPU, which will make them eligible for admission to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU).

How to fill out the IPU CET Application Form?

The IPU CET Application Form is available to fill out on the official website, and candidates must know that the process will only be carried out online on the official website. Candidates are advised to use either Internet Explorer (V.11), Mozilla Firefox (V 50 - 65) or Google Chrome to fill out the IPU CET Application Form. Below is the step-by-step procedure on how to fill out the IPU CET Application Form 2024.

Step 1: Initial Registration

The first step in order to fill out the application form is to register for the exam on the official website.

  • Go to the official website of GGSIPU and click on the 'Apply Online' tab in the end
  • Click on register as a new user and the terms and conditions window will open. Click on 'I Agree'
  • A new window will open for registration. Fill in the required details and create a user ID and Password, and hit the 'Submit' button
  • A confirmation email will be shared on the registered email ID

Step 2: Filling out the Application Form

The second step after registration is to fill out the application form. Candidates must note that this is a detailed procedure and no changes can be made after submission. So the form must be filled out carefully by following the below instructions.

  • Log in using the unique ID and password created
  • Enter Personal details like name, Address, Date of Birth, Religion, etc.
  • Once done, click on the ‘Save and Next' option to proceed

Step 3: Filling out the Qualification Details

Once the application form is submitted, the next step is to fill out the qualification details like 10th and 12th details or graduation details in case the candidate is applying for a master's program. Candidates must keep in mind the following steps:

  • For PhD category, candidates must fill in the details like 10th and 12th qualifying marks, year of passing, University details, and subjects taken. This section will also include details like the work experience of the candidate, exams qualified, and scores.
  • For PG Medical Courses - PGMC/ M.D./ M.S./ D.M./ M.Ch) / Super Specialty Medical Courses (SSMC) candidates will enter the 10th and 10+ 2 details along with the work experience
  • Once all details are duly filled, click on the ‘Save and Next' option to proceed

Step 4: Enter the Exam Center Details

In this step, the candidate will be required to fill their preferred choice of the test center which they will choose from the 7 allotted centers. Candidates must note that once submitted, the preferences cannot be changed.

Step 5: Enter Contact Details

In this section, the candidate will fill in the contact details such as Mobile Number, email address, alternate number, etc. The information entered should be correct and accurate.

Step 6: Upload Images and Documents

This is the most important section in the IPU CET registration process. Candidates must upload their images and other documents like signatures and certificates in the set format and specifications. Below are the guidelines for uploading the images and documents.

Step 7: Final Submission and Payment

Once the documents are uploaded, the last step is to check that all the information is correct and the documents uploaded are as per the specifications. The candidate then will finally submit the form and proceed towards paying the IPU CET Application Fees, which is INR 1500 for all the categories. The payment will be finalized by clicking on the ‘Make Payment' tab.

Step 8: Download and Take a Printout

Once the fee is paid, the IPU CET Registration process is considered complete. Candidates can download and take a printout of their application form for further use as it will be required at the time of non-receipt of the IPU CET Admit Card.

IPU CET Application Form Correction

The Application Form correction facility is provided by IPU. Once all the Application forms are submitted, IPU will open the Application Form Correction window, where the candidates can make changes to their IPU CET Application via online mode. Candidate must note, that if the Application Form gets rejected due to any reason, the Registration fee is non-refundable. Therefore, the candidate must ensure to fill out the form carefully and correctly in the first go.
