Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University administers the IPU CET Exam, and it is also known as the Indraprastha University Common Entrance Test (IPU CET). This entrance exam is held for applicants seeking admission to several UG and PG programmes in engineering, law, management, and medicine, among other fields. IPU CET is the university-level test that will be used to determine which courses candidates can enrol in.  Additionally, JEE Main, NEET, and other entrance exams will be used to determine admission. It is to be noted that IPU CET Exam is not conducted for admissions to the B.Tech Course and admissions in B.Tech are soley based on the JEE Main Scores. Candidates seeking admission to B.Tech/BE course will be directly appearing for the IPU CET Counseling process which is likely to begin sometime in August/September 2024, after the results are decalred on the official website. Candidates will be registeirng online by paying a fee of INR 1000 (for all categories). 

IPU CET 2024: The IPU CET online application form was released on 1st February and the last date to fill out the IPU CET application was 31st March. However, it was extended to 10th April later on. IPU CET Application Form

The IPU CET Application Form 2024 has officially been released on the webite. Candidates will first require to register for the IPU CET Exam 2024 and after registration, the candidates will move ahead to fill the IPU CET 2024 Application Form. Below are steps to register for the IPU CET Exam 2024.

Step 1: Go to the official website of GGSIPU and click on the 'Apply Online' tab in the end

Step 2: Click on register as a new user and the terms and conditions window will open. Click on 'I Agree'

Step 3: A new window will open for registration. Fill in the required details and create a user ID and Password, and hit the 'Submit' button

Step 4: Confirmation email will be shared on the registered email ID

How to fill out the IPU CET 2024 Application Form?

Step 1: Go to the official application link and login using the User ID and Password

Step 2: Complete the application with the necessary information (personal, communication, course, etc.).

Step 3: Upload all the necessary documents, including your photo, signature, and thumbprint in accordance with the specifications mentioned below

Step 4: Complete the remaining information and approve the declaration form.

Step 5: Subsequently, pay the IPU CET University 2024 application cost of INR 1500/-

Step 6: Submit the application and print out a copy for your records.

• There will be a Rs. 1500 application fee for all categories.

• The application cost must be paid online by the candidates.

IPU CET 2024 Admit Card

The only way for the candidate to obtain their admit card is online. The IPU CET 2024 admission card is released and made available for download on or at least 5 days before the examination. The Following details are mentioned on the IPU CET Admit Card and must be verified carefully.

Steps to Download the IPU CET Admit Card

• Visit the official website - ipu.ac.in
• Navigate to the admit card download link and log in using the credentials - Application Number and Date of Birth (DOB)
• The IPU CET 2024 Admit Card will be displayed on screen
• Downlaod and take a print out for further use

IPU CET 2024 Results

After the IPU CET exam has been completed, the results will be made public. By logging into the IPU CET 2024 University website, candidates can verify their results. The outcome will be presented in PDF format, and will include the below mentioned details.

• candidate Name
• Application Number
• Participant ID
• Rank Secured

Based on the exam results, a merit list of the successful candidates will be created. Such applicants will be required to attend the counselling session in accordance with their ranking and schedule.

Steps to Download the IPU CET Result

• Navigate to the result download link and log in using the credentials
• After logging on, candidates will be required to choose their subject
• Followed by that, the IPU CET Result will be displayed in a PDF format as a rank list
• Candidates must save their result and take a printout if required for further use

IPU CET 2024 Counseling

After the results are announced, the IPU CET 2024 counselling process takes place.The cunseling process takes place as both offline and online methods. While offline counseling happens for various courses, the online counseling procedure takes place only for MBA, MCA, BCom, BHMS, abd BAMS.

There will be several rounds of counselling, and candidates must complete the process which includes paying the counselling cost, registering, making their choices, and choosing a seat. The candidate must appear at the designated centre to confirm their admission to the college

Basic Counseling & Admission procedure for IPU CET

• Counseling schedule will be released online on the official website post result declaration
• Candidates will register for the counseling process on the website by paying a fee of INR 1000
• Choice filling process takes place where candidates choose their preferred course and college(s)
• Once the choice filling process is completed, the seat is alloted to the candidate based on their rank and preference of college
• Candidate then reports to the college for document verification
• Finally, when the documents are fully verified the candidate pays the admission fees of the college
