GATE 2025 Cutoff will be released after each round of COAP 2025 Counselling. The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee released the GATE results 2025 on March 19, 2025. Along with the result, the institute also released the GATE cutoff 2025 on the website. The GATE AIR-1 list (branch-wise) is also available now for students who appeared in the exam. Candidates can check the GATE 2025 result cutoff by downloading the scorecard through the online GOAPS portal. The cutoff has been made available for all the branches and categories which are available.
GATE Cutoff the minimum marks that students must secure in order to qualify for the GATE 2025 exam. IIT Roorkee conducted the GATE 2025 exam on February 1, 2, 15 & 16, 2025. The GATE 2025 cutoff for CSE, ME, CE, EE, and ECE has been released on the official website.
GATE 2025 Cutoff Category-wise
The GATE cutoff is different from the GATE admission cutoff. The GATE Cutoff is also mentioned on the GATE 2025 result. The GATE cutoff will vary from one IIT to another. There are various factors which determine the cutoff marks of GATE exam. These factors are total no. of seats available, total number of students who appeared in the exam, average score, difficulty level of the exam, and previous years’ trends.

GATE 2025 Qualifying Cutoff
Candidates can check the GATE 2025 cut off on this page. The GATE cut off 2025 will be made available for all the GATE papers including EC, CS, MA, DA, PH, CH, MN, etc. Candidates must note that there will be two types of GATE cutoff released namely GATE 2025 qualifying cutoff and GATE 2025 admission cutoff. The difference between the two has been given below.
The GATE qualifying cutoff is the minimum marks that candidates must obtain to qualify the GATE exam. Those who clear the GATE 2025 qualifying cutoff will be considered eligible for admission through GATE COAP 2025 counseling. The GATE qualifying cutoff marks will be different for all the 30 subjects of GATE paper. The qualifying GATE cutoff for IITs and NITs will also vary as per the category of the candidates. The GATE qualifying cutoff is usually released by the examination conducting body along with the declaration of the result.
GATE 2025 Admission Cutoff
The GATE admission cutoff 2025 is the minimum qualifying score that candidates must obtain in order to gain admission to their desired institute. The admission cutoff score of GATE exam will help candidates secure a seat in the participating institute. Each institute participating institute will release its admission cutoff of GATE 2025 exam based on which the admission process will take place.
GATE 2025 Opening and Closing Ranks
The institutes will release the GATE cutoff marks for admission to IITs and NITs in the form of opening and closing ranks. The IITs and NITs will start the M. Tech admission process after the declaration of gate 2025 results. The admission to gate participating institutes will take place through JoSAA 2025 counselling. After the application and interview rounds the institutes will release the gate opening and closing ranks.
