CUCET 2024 Latest Updates: The application form for Phase 1 of CUCET 2024 is currently available. The deadline to apply for the first phase is May 15, 2024. Candidates can access the form both online and offline. CUCET 2024 Phase 1 will be administered as an online remote-proctored test from October 20, 2023, to May 15, 2024. What is CUCET Exam?

CUCET, an online entrance test, is conducted by Chandigarh University, which has been accredited with the prestigious A+ grade by NAAC. This national-level examination is mandatory for various programs, including B.E. (Bachelor of Engineering), B.Pharmacy, Pharm D, Master of Pharmacy (Pharmaceutics), Master of Pharmacy (Pharmacology), Master of Pharmacy (Industrial Pharmacy), Master of Pharmacy (Pharmaceutical Chemistry), MBA, Integrated Law programs (B.A+LLB, BBA+LLB, BCom+LLB), and Integrated Law (LLM).

CUCET is an entrance exam that takes place twice a year in two phases: Phase I and Phase II. Phase I is conducted from October to May, while Phase II is conducted from June to October during an academic year. The applications for CUCET Phase I for the year 2024 are currently open and will remain so until May 30, 2024, for all undergraduate and postgraduate courses.

• Register on the CUCET registration page and create a profile.
• Following successful registration, a confirmation message is sent via SMS/email.
• Once registered, pay the registration fee of Rs. 1000/-, which includes a digital copy of the prospectus.
• Fill in your current qualification, including the school name and subjects, and select the CUCET exam date from the drop down menu.
• Take the CUCET exam on the scheduled date and time at https://cucet.cuchd.in using your registered login information
• The results will be sent to you via email and displayed in your login account at https://cucet.cuchd.in.

CUCET Eligibility Criteria 2024

Before filling out the application form for CUCET 2024, candidates must ensure they meet the eligibility criteria specified by the university. Here is a brief overview of the eligibility criteria for both undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) courses in CUCET:

Undergraduate Courses (UG):

• B.E. (Bachelor of Engineering): Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational subject.
• B.Pharmacy: Candidates should have completed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology.
• Pharm D: Applicants must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology.

Postgraduate Courses (PG):

• Master of Pharmacy (Pharmaceutics)/Master of Pharmacy (Pharmacology)/Master of Pharmacy (Industrial Pharmacy)/Master of Pharmacy (Pharmaceutical Chemistry): Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharmacy) from a recognized university.
• MBA (Master of Business Administration): Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
• Integrated Law programs (B.A+LLB, BBA+LLB, BCom+LLB): Candidates should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination in any stream with a minimum aggregate percentage as specified by the university.
• Integrated Law (LLM): Applicants must possess an LLB degree or equivalent from a recognized university.

CUCET Exam Admit Card 2024

After the submission of the application form for CUCET 2024, candidates can expect the availability of the admit card soon. The CUCET Admit Card will be sent to the candidate's registered email address that was provided during the application process. It will contain the candidate's personal information along with details such as the examination date, time, and center.

In case a candidate does not receive the admit card, it is important to take immediate action. The candidate should promptly report the issue to the office of the university. They can do so by sending their registration details via email to cucet@cumail.in. Additionally, candidates can also contact the admission cell of the university through their helpline number for further assistance.

CUCET Exam Pattern 2024

The CUCET 2024 is an online computer-based test that lasts for a duration of 2 hours. The examination will be conducted in English as the medium of instruction. The exam consists of 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs), where each question offers four options, and candidates are required to select the correct answer. In terms of scoring, one mark will be awarded for each correct answer, and there will be no negative marking or penalty for incorrect answers.

The exam's conducting body has specified the CUCET MBA 2024 exam pattern, which includes the names of the sections from which questions will be asked, the exam mode, and the total time duration.

• CUCET MBA 2024 - Questions will be asked in English (15), Quantitative Analysis (30), General Knowledge (25), and Logical Reasoning (30).
• The CUCET MBA 2024 exam will be taken online.
• The questions will be objective (MCQs).
• Total duration - Candidates will be given 120 minutes to complete the test
• Marking scheme: 1 mark will be awarded for each correct response.
• There will be no deduction of marks for incorrect answers. 

CUCET 2024 Syllabus

The CUCET 2024 Syllabus will be based on the syllabus of the relevant qualifying examination and aptitude for that subject. Most courses have four subjects on the syllabus, including English language. Please find the section-wise syllabus for various subjects mentioned below:

CUCET Exam Result 2024

The CUCET 2024 Result will be announced online on the same day as the exam. Candidates who secure a minimum of 30% marks in the examination will be considered eligible for admission.

The scorecard containing the result will be sent to the candidates' registered email IDs. Following the release of the results, a merit list will be prepared based on the entrance exam scores of the qualified candidates. Those candidates whose names appear on the merit list will be notified through email.

After the result declaration, qualified candidates must submit 30% of the admission fee within 15 days to confirm their admission and avail of the scholarship benefits.

CUCET 2024 Scholarships

CU has allocated INR 170 crore for the academic year 2024-24 to offer scholarships to students who wish to study futuristic courses of their choice at North India's central educational hub. These scholarships can cover up to 100% of the tuition fees and are awarded based on merit. To determine the merit, the university takes into consideration the marks earned by candidates in the CUCET (60% weightage) and the graduation/Class XII (40% weightage) exams, and prepares a merit list.
