CLAT Application Form 2025: CLAT 2025 application form was released on July 15, 2024. Last date to fill CLAT 2025 application form is October 15, 2024. CLAT 2025 application form can be filled in 5 steps - registration, personal details, communication details, education qualification and centre preferences. You also have to fill NLU preferences while filling the application form. Once you register and complete the application process, you will get a CLAT 2025 admit card one week before the exam. Candidates must read the eligibility criteria before filling out the application form. The CLAT 2025 exam is scheduled for 1st December 2024

CLAT 2025 Eligibility Criteria

The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is an entrance exam for admission to undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) law programs offered by National Law Universities (NLUs) in India. The eligibility criteria for CLAT 2024 are given below:

For UG Admission

  • Candidates must have passed the 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board.

  • At least 45% marks in the qualifying examination for General/OBC/PwD/NRI/PIO/OCI Candidates and at least 40% marks in the qualifying examination for SC/ST Candidates

  • There is no upper age limit for appearing in the CLAT 2024

For PG Admission

  • Candidates must have completed a 3-year LLB or 5-year integrated LLB degree from a recognized university.

  • At least 50% marks in the qualifying examination for General/OBC/PwD/NRI/PIO/OCI Candidates and at least 45% marks in the qualifying examination for SC/ST Candidates

  • There is no upper age limit for appearing in the CLAT 2024.

How to Apply for CLAT 2025

The CLAT 2025 registration can be completed by following the below-given steps:

Step 1: Log on to the official website of CLAT: consortiumofnlus.ac.in.

Step 2: Click on the CLAT 2025 link on the homepage.

Step 3: Next, click on the “New Registration” tab.

Step 4: Enter CLAT registration details like your contact number, email address, password and other details.

Step 5: Fill the detailed application form

Step 6: Upload the required documents and Update NLU preferences

Step 7: Pay the Application Fee

Step 8: Submit the application form and take print out for future reference

Documents Required for CLAT 2025 Registration

Below are the documents required for CLAT 2025 Registration:

  • Passport size recent photograph with plain background

  • Class 10 and 12 mark sheets

  • Signature of the candidate

  • Category certificate if you are applying under SC/ST/OBC

  • P.W.D Certificate

  • BPL category Certificate (if applicable)

CLAT 2025 Application Correction Window

The Consortium of NLUs will open the CLAT 2025 application correction window for candidates to edit their forms or change the test centres. To edit the application forms, follow the steps given below.

Step 1: Visit the official website of Consortium of NLUs, consortiumofnlus.ac.in.

Step 2: Click on the “CLAT 2025 Application Correction” link.

Step 3: Login with your mobile number and password.

Step 4: Click on “Edit Application”.

Step 5: Make the changes and click on “Next”.

Step 6: Click on “Save”.
