BVP CET 2024: The BVP CET 2024 exam was conducted on 9th June 2024, and the BVP CET result was announced on 18th June on the official website of BVP CET. The Counselling for BVP CET 2024 was conducted from July 2 to July 5, 2024. The B. Tech course classes will commence from 15th July 2024 as expected.

BVP CET - An Overview

Bharati Vidyapeeth Common Entrance Test (BVP CET) is a university entrance exam held by Bharati Vidyapeeth University, Pune for admission to various UG and PG programs. The exam is a pathway to up to 700 B. Tech seats available at the university. Candidates will be offered seats based on their performance in the BVP CET 2024.

Steps to Apply for the BVP CET Exam

The BVP CET Application Form is released on the official website of BVU and the candidates must register themselves to apply for the BVP CET Exam. Fiiling out the BVP CET Application Form is a 3 step procedure which has been explained in detail below:

Step 1: Registration

The first step is to register for the BVP CET Exam. Candidates can follow the below procedure to register for the BVP CET Exam.

• Visit the official website for BVP CET - bvuniversity.edu.in
• Click on the 'New Applicant' link or 'Login' link on the home page
• Enter details like Name, Phone Number, Email, and Password
• A confirmation SMS and Email with the login credentials is sent to the registered mobile number and Email address. credentials will include a Username, and a Password to log in.

Step 2: Filling Out the BVP CET Application

The second step is the most important one. Here, the candidate fills out the actual Application Form for the BVP CET Exam. Check the steps to fill out the form below.

• Log in using the valid credentials
• Click on the Student and Parent Decalaration and click on 'I Agree'
• Fill out the Personal, Parents, and Academic Details. The applicant is required to fill out the below mentioned details in each section.

• Upload the scanned images in the specified format to move ahead in the BVP CET Application Process.

• Click on Submit and Review, and check the details mentioned
• If the details are correct click on Yes, else click No and make the necessary corrections
• Once all corrections are done, carefully check everything and finally click 'Submit'

Step 3: BVP CET Application Fee Payment

The final step in BVP CET Application is to pay the BVP CET Application Fees. The Application Fee is INR 1700 for all category of candidates, and the fees is not refunded to the candidate under any circumstances. However, it must be noted that the BVP CET Application Fee varies for different courses. Check the table below.

For the online proctored mode exam, no BVP CET 2024 admit card is issued. Instead, candidates will be given login information in order to take the exam.

Key Points of BVP CET Result

• The merit list will be prepared based on the marks scored in both sections cumulatively and will be published on University website
• A separate merit list will be prepared for the Regular and the Foreign/NRI/PIO/OCI Institutional quota merit categories
• The merit list will contain only the names of first 5000 applicants according to the marks scored
• Candidates with their names on the merit list will be eligible for the BVP CET Counselling

BVP CET Cutoff 2024 (Expected)

The BVP CET Cutoff refers to the minimum qualifying marks that are required to bes ecured by the candidate to be eligible for admission to the various courses offered by the Bhartiya Vidyapeeth University. The cutoff list is released in the form of opening & closing ranks by the institute on its official website. It must be noted that the cutoff varies with different branches and courses.

BVP CET Counselling

The BVP CET Counselling will begin soon and will be conducted from 2nd to 5th July 2024 by the University. The counselling and on the spot inviation letters will be sent to the first 5000 candidate whose names appeared in the merit list on their registered email address. Canddiates must be aware that no physical copies of these letters will be dispatched to the candidates separetely. When appearing for the BVP CET Counselling, candidates must keep in mind the following:

• Admission Status & Vacancy Positions will be updated daily on the website during the BVP CET Counselling process
• Demand Draft (DD) of tuition fee, other fee, and hostel fee will have to submitted at the time of counselling and admission process to confirm the seat
• After all seats are filled, waiting list numbers will be allotted to only those candidates who had appeared for the counselling
• Candidates in the waiting list will be called for admission subject to the vacancies developed based on the cancellations made by the exisisting seat holder.

BVP CET Counselling Documents Required

Candidates must carry the following documents at the time of BVP CET Counselling.

• Letter for Counselling
• Proof of date of Birth: SSC Certificate or School/College Leaving Certificate or Certificate of Domicile/Nationality Certificate
• A Certificate of the Principal/Headmaster of the School for having studied for 11th and 12th standard in India
• Statement of marks of X std examination 
• Statement of marks of XII std examination
• Transfer Certificate from the Institution last studied in
• Migration Certificate (for students who joined a course after 12th)
• Aadhar Card
• Gap Certificate (for students who joined a course after 12th)
• Conduct and Character Certificate from a responsible person 
• Caste certificate (for SC/ST candidates only)
• Caste validity certificate issued by the competent authority (for SC/ST candidates only)
• Certificate of Medical Fitness.
• Six recent passport-size photographs with your name written on the backside.
