BCECE Exam Pattern consists of the count of questions, question type, mode of examination. BCECE (Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination) is conducted for admission to undergraduate level courses. It is the state level examination of Bihar through which the candidates would be admitted to engineering, architecture and technology courses. BCECE Board is the main authority that has the responsibility for the examination.
BCECE will be conducted in 2 stages.

- All the Questions are objective type.
- Negative marking is applicable - 1 mark is deducted for each incorrect answer.
BCECE 2019 Examination would be conducted in two stages. The candidates can check the BCECE Exam Pattern (1st and 2nd stage)
BCECE 2023 (Stage 1 Examination)
- The BCECE Examination would be conducted in the month of July 2023
- BCECE is conducted for engineering and agricultural courses.
- A total count of 150 questions would be asked in the examination.
- Objective Type Question consisting of 4 alternative options.
- The question paper cover Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology and Agriculture subjects. Candidates who apply for engineering have to apply for Mathematics.
- The examination would be conducted in pen and paper mode.
- The candidates would have to solve within a time frame of 2 hours and 15 mins.
- Every correct answer would carry 4 marks.
- Every wrong answer would carry -1 mark.
BCECE 2022 - Stage 2
- BCECE Stage 2 would be conducted in the month of July 2023.
- BCECE is held for Engineering and Agriculture courses.
- About 300 questions would be asked in BCECE Stage 2. 100 questions from every section.
- The Question Paper would be of an objective type consisting of 4 alternative options.
- The questions would be asked from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biolog, and Agriculture.
- Both the stages of the question paper would be in English and below with Hindi translation.
- The examination would be in pen and paper mode.
- The time allotted to every section would be 90 mins with 4.5 hours allotted to solve BCECE Stage 2.
- Every correct answer would carry 4 marks.
- Every wrong answer would carry -1 mark.
Guidelines for BCECE
- The candidates should forget to carry BCECE Admit card along with one ID Proof.
- Since the examination would be held in offline mode, candidates would be required to carry blue and black pens.
- The OMR Sheets would be required to fill completely by the candidates.
- The candidates should reach the examination venue on time.
- All the examination venue rules should be followed by the candidate.
BCECE Syllabus
Using the BCECE Syllabus, the candidates would be appropriately studying for the examination. Chapters from Physics, Chemistry and Biology would be asked to the candidates. The candidates would be required to prepare using the official BCECE Syllabus.
