ACET Eligibility Criteria
The "Actuarial Common Entrance Test" applies to the candidates who plan to enroll as student members of the Institute of Actuaries of India and wish to take actuarial examinations. Any candidate studying for the below can apply for the ACET exam.
- Students who have appeared 10+2 or an equivalent examination and waiting for the result.
- A candidate who have passed 10+2 or any other higher courses/examinations.
- Diploma.
- Finance, or any other stream, but you have love for Mathematics and skills in Numeracy.

The students willing to take this exam should complete the application form before the deadline of 5th December 2024. Step 1: Registration
The first step to begin with the ACET application form is to register for the exam. To register for ACET, candidates can follow the below steps.

- Click the ACET registration link on the home page.
- Enter your name, email address, and phone number to sign up.
- After you sign up, you will receive a confirmation email.
Step 2: Filling out the ACET Application Form
The next step is to fill out the ACET application form by using the link received on your email ID. Follow these steps to fill out the form.
- Login to your ACET account
- Click on the “Registration form” tab-> fill in your personal details-> Confirm & Next.
- Education Details->Click on “Add Educational details”-> Enter 10th grade info ->Save. (Follow the same process for 12th grade)->Confirm and Next.
- Select “State” and “City” -> Confirm & Next.

Step 4: Pay the registration fee
The last step to fill out the ACET application form is to pay the ACET fees in online mode using debit/credit card, net banking, or any UPI payment method. ACET 2024 Admission Process
The ACET admission process involves two major stages. Both of these stages have been described and briefed below for the reference of the candidates.
Stage One
The aspirant registers online and takes the ACET online. Candidates will be short-listed after taking the exam based on their performance. Following the announcement of the ACET results, one academic counsellor from the university will contact the shortlisted candidate within three working days to schedule the personal interview.
Stage Two
Candidates will be invited to the ADYPU campus for a counselling session and a personal interview. Candidates for MBA programs must participate in a Group Discussion, while candidates for design programs must participate in a Studio Test. Students must bring their Statement of Purpose (SOP) and any certificates for extracurricular activities.
Every shortlisted candidate must attend the Second Stage in order to be admitted to their desired course. The cumulative performance of students in both rounds will be used to select students.
ACET 2024 Exam Day Guidelines
On the day of the ACET exam, the candidates must ensure to follow the below-mentioned guidelines to avoid any kind of issues or problems on the exam day.
- The exam software must be downloaded and installed by candidates.
- Leaving the room to use the restroom is not permitted while the exam is in progress.
- During the exam, a clear water bottle can be kept.
- It is forbidden to use electronic devices or access any other browser while leaving the system.
- The room must be well-lit, and a web camera must be used without hindrance.
- An IAI-approved scientific calculator is permitted.
