The Velammal Educational Trust is a recognized non-minority service organization founded in 1986 by Thiru. M.V. Muthuramalingam to instill in young people a feeling of discipline that is necessary to shape them into helpful and capable citizens. The Trust's watchwords are "Dedication, Determination, and Distinction". Velammal Engineering College was founded in 1995-96 to provide superior education. It is a self-financed, non-minority institution affiliated with Anna University, accredited by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), and ISO certified.
List of Documents to be uploaded online by the applicant:
- A scanned copy of the Passport size photograph
- A scanned copy of the signature
- Matric (10th) Marksheet
- 10+2 Marksheet
- Migration Certificate (required in case of other than Haryana School Education Board.
- Character Certificate
- NCC/ NSS/Sports Certificate for weightage, wherever applicable.
- An income Certificate is required for claiming benefits of EWS or SC / BC.
- Scholarships, if applicable
- Gap Year Affidavit, if applicable
- Reserved Category Certificate, if applicable

Faculty: Understandable teaching,friendly manner, Special attention to the students If needed
