Utkal University Law College Admission 

University Law College Bhubaneswar admissions are based on the institute’s entrance exams. The college accepts applications from qualified applicants using a consolidated application procedure shared by the university’s member institutions. Students who want to attend the institute must fill out an entrance form. The following is the admission procedure for the courses available:  

How do you apply?

• For the application form, go to the official website or come to campus.
• Fill out the application form completely and note the application number.
• Submit the form together with a demand payment for INR 600 payable to The Principal, University Law College, Vani Vihar, and the requisite papers by post/courier.
• The institute publishes a merit list based on entrance exam scores and qualifying exam grades.

Documents needed:

• 10th standard mark sheet and certificate 12th standard mark sheet and certificate conduct certificate from the previous institution attended
• Certificate of Caste (if appropriate C.L.C.)
• Original/provisional qualifying exam certificate
• Examinee’s +3 mark sheet
• 2 self-addressed stamped envelopes
• 4 passport-sized photographs
• Original application form money receipt. 

University Law College Bhubaneswar LLB Admission 

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have passed a 10+2+3 pattern in either B.A/BSc./B.Com with a minimum of 45% aggregate or equivalent degree recognized by Bar Council of India.

Selection Process

Selection of the candidate will be made based on the entrance exam and application form. It will follow the following pattern.

• HSC /equivalent - 5 marks 
• 10+2 / equivalent - 10 marks
• Graduation scores - 15 marks
• Entrance exam - 50 marks

University Law College Bhubaneswar B.A. LL. B Admission 

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have passed 10+2 with minimum 45% aggregate for general category applicants and 40% for reserved classes Sc/ST.

Selection Process

Selection of the candidate will be made based on the entrance exam and application form. It will follow the following pattern.

• HSC /equivalent - 20 marks 
• 10+2 / equivalent - 30 marks
• Entrance exam - 50 marks

University Law College Bhubaneswar LLM Admission 

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have a degree in Law (B.A. L.L.B. / L.L.B) from University or college equivalent to Utkal University.

Selection Process

Selection of the candidate will be made based on the entrance exam and application form. It will follow the following pattern.

• HSC / equivalent - 2.7 marks 
• 10+2 / equivalent - 4.5 marks
• Graduation scores - 10.8 marks
• LL.B - 12.0 marks
• B.A. LL.B (integrated) - 22.8 marks
• Entrance exam - 70 marks

The college will display the merit list and waitlist after which candidates need to appear for counselling at the college.
