T A Pai Management Institute (TAPMI) comprises one of the most systematic and competitive admission processes, which are most appropriate to filter the admission to deserving and capable students in the institution. TAPMI Admission 2024: Eligibility Criteria and Courses

The candidates should have graduated from a recognized university and scored not less than 50%. The final-year students can also apply their admission can be withdrawn if they obtain a failure of 50% in their graduation. The following admission criteria are found for the MBA Technology Management program: twice work experience, indicating in the interview the candidate is interested in the technology domain, and the desire to progress in the technology sphere. The process described here applies to all programs offered; however, specific programs may have additional qualifiers. TAPMI Admission Process

Stage 1 
It is worth mentioning that the First Merit List for the admission is short-listed from the candidates who have appeared in CAT 2023, XAT 2024, GMAT (taken between 01/01/2019 and 31/01/2024), or NMAT by GMAC™ 2023. The candidates can provide more than one test score wherever it is accessible. Apart from the test scores TA Pai Management Institute, Manipal looks for the round personality of a candidate which in turn includes academics (10th, 12th, and graduation percentage/ CGPA/grades), work experience if any, extracurricular achievements and contributions to social causes, an entrepreneurial mindset, diversity, leadership skills and qualities, integrity and character, and values. The cutoffs vary from year to year depending upon the standard set by each group and the compatibility of a particular profile for a particular course. Stage 2

The second stage comprises of which will comprise of a Group Discussion (GD), an Extempore, and a Personal Interview. The GD measures a candidate’s interpersonal skills, analytical skills, confidence level, assertiveness, influencing skills, teamwork skills, and communication skills that he or she possesses. Extempore in this event will be that the candidates are provided with a topic on the spot and they have to deliver a speech for the next 2-3 minutes, thus they get to demonstrate their articulation, coherency, and presence of mind. With regards to attitude, they relate to the PI’s perception of the candidate’s ability to undergo management education to self-awareness and self-management, social awareness skills, leadership, and communication skills. Due to its dynamic nature TA Pai Management Institute, Manipal might make adaptations to the GD/PI process on an annual basis when recruiting candidates for admission into its institution, and any changes for the 2024-26 admission cycle will be given to candidates who will be called for the GD/PI. For the MBA Technology Management program, there are two rounds of interviews: a general round and another round that was done with a group interview that concerned the technology domain. There are two rounds, and all candidates who wish to be admitted to the facility must sit for the rounds.

TAPMI Admission Criteria for NRI/Foreign/OCl Students

The NRI, NRI-sponsored candidates, Foreign Nationals, and Overseas Citizenship of India(OCI) candidates are also eligible to apply for particular courses at T A Pai Management Institute, Manipal. These applicants have to fulfill similar eligibility criteria as are prescribed for Indian candidates which includes having a graduate degree with an aggregate of 50 % marks as minimum. For the candidates who belong to NRI, the candidates have to produce the CAT/XAT/ GMAT/NMAT/ATMA/CMAT/ MAT scores. The PIO and Foreign Nationals will have to submit the GMAT scores and IELTS scores may also be needed. The shortlisting for this candidate is done according to their profile where the consideration taken includes an entrance exam, academic results, work experience, and co-curricular records. The procedure of admission to any of the courses offered by the university follows that for Indian domicile candidates as well.
